Mapping Knowledge Domains Analysis Of Contemporary Art Reseaech Based On Citespace Analysis Of ISI Web Of Science Database

In order to objectively grasp the current situation of contemporary art research and clarify the overall results of contemporary art research.This study takes the literature with the theme of contemporary art under the art category in the wed of science database from 2010 to2021 as the source of data.With the help of the analysis of wos database website and Cite Space visual analysis software,the knowledge map is drawn in five aspects: country（region）,institution,journal,author,hot spot and frontier,and the following conclusions are obtained:1.In this decade,the number of documents in the field of contemporary art research has shown an upward trend as a whole.340 articles were published in 2018,reaching the highest point.Among them,e-waste media,art education and practice,and materiality are the most cited literature contents.2.According to the knowledge map of core countries,the influence and orientation of the United States still ranks first in the world,followed by Germany,Britain,Italy and the Netherlands.There is less cooperation among the United States,Britain,Spain and Germany.3.According to the analysis of institutional knowledge map,there are 1419 global scientific research institutions in recent ten years.According to the number of documents issued,the top five academic institutions are the University of London,the University of Madrid,the University of California,the University of Barcelona and the University of Basque.The most cited university is the University of Madrid in Spain.Domestic institutions in Spain cooperate closely,and scientific research institutions in the UK cooperate closely,but there is less inter national cooperation.4.According to the analysis of periodical knowledge map,the top five periodicals that are highly cited are thesis,communication,October,New York Times and art bull.5.According to the analysis of the knowledge map of the core authors,the highly cited authors（highly contributing authors）mainly include budge,Kylie,Iwona szmelter,Franziska Koch,Karen vonveh and Angela harutyunyan.,Their research interests include the relationship between ins social media platform and contemporary art,art and democratized society,avant-garde of Chinese contemporary art,South African art,post art situation,Armenian art,etc.6.At present,the discipline of contemporary art mainly involves five categories,including new concept,viewing style,utopian design,evolution device and contemporary art.In the analysis of keyword knowledge map,high-frequency words of contemporary art,art,painting,museum and contemporary art.Research hotspots include Boyce,cultural context,exploring material culture,environmental protection movement,daily zoning,social ecology,collective creation,modern art,bad clock and Marina Martinez.7.Research frontiers and trends are mainly art education and materiality.
