| Children of Chinese descent’s listening and speaking ability is usually better than their ability to read Chinese characters.How to effectively improve children of Chinese descent’s ability to read Chinese characters is an important problem in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Since June 2021,the author has been teaching in an institution specializing in Chinese language teaching for children of Chinese descent.During the teaching practice,the author has noticed that due to the reasons of time and space environment,teacher teaching,cultural factors and children’s cognition,the literacy of children of Chinese descent generally has problems such as relatively low efficiency and unsatisfactory teaching effect.In view of this,this paper chooses children of Chinese descent as the research object,focuses on the online Chinese character teaching of children of Chinese descent,according to Chinese Character Table in the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education,draws on the "character family" theory,Crashen’s input hypothesis and Piaget’s theory of children’s cognitive development,and comprehensively uses the research methods of observation,personal interview and statistical analysis.This paper explains and analyzes the main problems and causes of online Chinese character teaching for children of Chinese descent.On this basis,the author tries to apply the theory of "character family" to the online teaching of Chinese characters for children of Chinese descent,puts forward the corresponding teaching principles and teaching countermeasures,and writes a textbook sample course for children of Chinese descent’s literacy based on the theory of "character family".This paper points out that the application of the theory of "character family" to the online teaching of Chinese characters can solve the problems of low interest in Chinese character acquisition and poor efficiency of Chinese character memorization among children of Chinese descent to a certain extent.This study believes that the use of the "character family" theory is conducive to stimulating the interest of children of Chinese descent in learning Chinese characters and improving the literacy efficiency of children of Chinese descent.This paper consists of six parts: Chapter 1,"introduction",which introduces the research purpose,research significance,research object,research content,theoretical basis and research methods of this paper,and briefly combs and analyzes the research situation of "character family" theory in Chinese primary school literacy in China,teaching Chinese as a foreign language and online Chinese character teaching for children of Chinese descent.Chapter 2," An Overview of the Theory of ’character family’ ",gives a brief description of the definition and characteristics of "character family",the research scope and judgment of "character family",the establishment ang significance of character family Table.Chapter3,"Problems and Causes Analysis of online Chinese character teaching for children of Chinese descent",summarizes the main problems in online Chinese character teaching for children of Chinese descent,and analyzes the causes of the problems.Chapter 4,"The application of ’character family’ theory in online Chinese character teaching for children of Chinese descent",explains and analyzes the feasibility of "character family" theory applied to online Chinese character teaching for children of Chinese descent,and discusses the principles and teaching countermeasures of "character family" theory applied to online Chinese character teaching for children of Chinese descent.Chapter 5,"Idea of compiling textbooks for children of Chinese descent based on the theory of ’character family’ ",briefly introduces the basic principles,basic situation and design instructions of compiling textbooks,and provides the design of sample lessons for compiling textbooks.The last part of the paper is the "conclusion ",which Outlines the main conclusions of the research,puts forward the innovation points of the research,points out the deficiencies of the research and the focus of the follow-up research. |
