Researching background: School bullying not only hinders students’ normal study and life,but also brings serious negative effects on their physical and mental development.At present,various actions to control school bullying are being carried out in an orderly way,but there are also problems such as lack of cooperation between home and school in preventing and treating school bullying and lack of communication between home and school.Existing studies have shown that the involvement of parents in school bullying prevention and control can effectively reduce the occurrence of bullying,but the type and current situation of the cooperation between schools and parents of primary school students and the relationship between the occurrence of school bullying remains to be further explored.Researching objectives: Taking the cooperation between a school and a primary scho ol as the research object,this paper explores the current situation of school bullying,t he types and characteristics of home-school cooperation,and the relationship between the types of home-school cooperation and the bullying and being bullied of primary s chool students,in order to explore the development path of home-school cooperation i n the management of school bullying,and provide countermeasures and recommendat ions for prevention and treatment of bullying behavior.Methods: 1371 students from grades 1-6 and their parents in C Primary School in Pingdu City were selected as the research objects by means of cluster convenient sampling,including 768 boys,603 girls,512 fathers and 859 mothers.The children completed the Demographic Variables Questionnaire and the Olweus Bullying/Bullying Questionnaire,and the parents completed the home-School Cooperation Questionnaire for Preventing and Treating Elementary School Bullying.Researching results:1.The incidence of bullying in primary school was: relationship bullying 5.5%,verbal bullying 5.6%,physical bullying 5.4%,cyber bullying 5.9% and total bullying9.5%;The incidence of bullying among students was as follows: relational bullying14%,verbal bullying 13.7%,physical bullying 8.6%,cyber bullying 7.8%,and total bullying 20.0%.There was no significant difference in bullying frequency between male and female students.The number of relationship bullying,verbal bullying,physical bullying and cyber bullying of senior students was significantly higher than that of junior and middle students.The number of relationship bullying,verbal bullying,physical bullying,and cyberbullying experienced by senior students was significantly higher than that of junior and middle grade students..2.Currently,there are three types of school-staff cooperation on bullying prevention and control in primary schools: cooperation on bullying prevention and control publicity,cooperation on bullying response and education,and cooperation on bullying problem solving.The number of parents participating in education cooperation on bullying response was significantly higher than the number of parents participating in cooperation on bullying prevention and control publicity and bullying problem solving,and the number of parents participating in bullying prevention and control publicity cooperation was significantly higher than the number of parents participating in bullying problem solving cooperation.The parents of senior students participated in the cooperation of bullying coping education more than the parents of junior students.Parents of older students were significantly more likely to cooperate in solving bullying problems than parents of younger students..3.After controlling for the variables of whether students are transfer students or children born at home,parents’ involvement in bullying prevention publicity significantly negatively predicted bullying and bullying,while parents’ involvement in solving bullying problems significantly positively predicted bullying and bullying.Research Conclusions:1.There are general bullying behaviors among primary school students,especiall y among senior primary school students.2.There is a negative correlation between parents’ participation in prevention and treatment of bullying and students’ bullying;There is a positive correlation between p arents’ participation in solving bullying problems and students’ bullying.This indicate s that parents’ participation in bullying prevention and control publicity can reduce the occurrence of bullying to a certain extent,but part of the bullying cooperation is main ly between the school and the parents of the bullied students.It is suggested that more parents should participate in bullying prevention and control work,and families and s chools should cooperate in bullying prevention and control publicity and education,so as to jointly build a safe and friendly school atmosphere and environment.
