This report is based on the translation practice of Chapters One and Two of Coevolutionary Pragmatism: Approaches and Impacts of China-Africa Economic Cooperation,which aims to convey information,knowledge and perspectives of China-Africa cooperation and their relationship under the framework of“coevolutionary pragmatism”.The first two chapters deal with the development model and trade,with a formal language style.This report focuses on the reproduction of different types of knowledge in the text under the framework of transknowletology,and summarizes the problems encountered and their corresponding solutions.In order to ensure its formality and rigorousness,the text abounds with scientific knowledge to help readers better understand the content and connotation.This report therefore focuses on the reproduction of knowledge from the natural sciences,social and human sciences in this text,taking into account not only the reproduction of various scientific knowledge,but also the characteristics and style of this text.For the truth of natural science knowledge,literal translation is preferred;in view of the demand for goodness and beauty in social and human sciences knowledge,free translation is often adopted.The translation practice and this report writing enable the translator to have a further understanding of the reproduction of different types of knowledge in texts about international relations and find appropriate solutions to translation problems,attempting to provide reference for future translation of similar texts. |
