| At present,minors have gradually become the main population of Chinese learning,and the younger age has become a new stage in the development of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,and there are more and more studies on international Chinese textbooks for minors.However,from the perspective of existing studies,there are few studies on the culture of international Chinese textbooks for minors.Therefore,this paper selects Kuaile Hanyu and Easy Steps To Chinese as samples of this study,and discusses the arrangement of the cultural points of the textbooks by comparing the number,type,presentation,relevance and recurrence.Firstly,the author adopted quantitative and qualitative methods to carefully investigate the arrangement of the cultural points of the two sets of textbooks,mainly from three aspects: the quantity and category selection of cultural knowledge,the presentation of Chinese knowledge in textbooks,and the relevance and reproduction of cultural knowledge in each part of the textbook.Secondly,based on the principle of cultural compilation in textbooks,an analysis and evaluation of the cultural points in two sets of textbooks were conducted.It was found that the overall cultural arrangement in Kuaile Hanyu and Easy Steps To Chinese was relatively reasonable,and they basically followed the principles of cultural compilation in textbooks.However,there were also some shortcomings.In terms of Kuaile Hanyu,its advantages were that the presentation of culture was relatively rich and interesting.However,the types of culture selected in the textbook were not diverse enough,the cultural content lacked timeliness,and there was a lack of communication cultural knowledge,ideological and cultural knowledge,and comparison between different cultures,which was not conducive to the cultivation of students’ cross-cultural communication abilities.As for Easy Steps to Chinese,its advantages were that the types of culture were relatively diverse,the content covered a wide range,and there were comparisons between cultures in the textbook,which was conducive to the cultivation of students’ cross-cultural communication abilities.However,there were also some problems with this textbook,such as too many cultural knowledge points in the later volumes,the content being too difficult,and too many repeated cultural points,which was not in line with the students’ acceptance ability.Finally,based on the research and analysis of the arrangement of cultural points of the two sets of textbooks,targeted suggestions are put forward for the arrangement of cultural points of international Chinese textbooks for teenagers and how to use teaching materials more reasonably by textbook users. |
