| As a teaching material for Chinese as a foreign language compiled in the new era,the exercises in the first 1-5 volumes of the "Easy Steps to Chinese" series are worth studying.From the perspectives of the number,type,content,cultural factors and the questionnaire survey of students,the systematic study of the exercise questions in the first five volumes of "Easy Steps to Chinese" can find out the characteristics of the series of "Easy Steps to Chinese" in the exercise questions and provide help for the subsequent improvement and revision of the exercise questions.First of all,this paper studies the national characteristics of the exercises in "Easy Steps to Chinese".It is found that the national characteristics of the exercises in this series of textbooks are relatively weak.It is suggested to improve the national characteristics of the exercises in textbooks from three aspects,namely,the co-compilation or revision of Chinese and foreign textbooks,strengthening the comparative study of language,culture,learners and deepening the research on text themes.Then,in combination with the selection of practice evaluation criteria and based on the "international Chinese teaching general outline",the "Easy Steps to Chinese" series of Chinese textbook exercises to do the inspection,found large number of exercises in this series of textbook exercises,incomplete comprehension exercises and exercises content,exercises contains fewer cultural factors,etc.It is suggested to arrange about 10 exercises for each lesson.The exercises should include at least one mechanical exercise and one or two flexible exercises.The content of the exercises should insist on long-term practice of phonetics and increase special vocabulary exercises.Then,in the part of the questionnaire for students,the following conclusions are drawn: the exercise questions meet the evaluation criteria of the exercise questions selected in the paper.The students think that the number of exercise questions in the textbook is large and the allocation of exercises is not reasonable,and the exercise questions cannot well stimulate students’ interest inlearning Chinese.At last,by means of literature review,quantitative analysis and questionnaire survey,this paper puts forward relevant Suggestions for improvement of the problems existing in the exercises in this series of textbooks.Conclusion part points out that in the selection of the research object of this study and exercises content research,questionnaire is selected objects are not complete,the exercises of content is not comprehensive,no lack of investigation and the evaluation of teachers to exercises.Strengthening for different language,culture,nation and state exercises design and layout of study,can improve textbook exercises targeted,raise the pertinence of the Chinese textbooks. |
