With the development of positive psychology, researchers have assigned more diversified meanings to trauma. The post-traumatic growth model of Tedechi and Calhoun(1996)argues that traumatic experiences are not only negative; If individuals can get reasonable guidance and positive cognitive reconstruction after experiencing trauma, then they will achieve the transcendence of pre-trauma self state, that is,post-traumatic growth.Based on this theoretical model, this study adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative research to investigate the status quo and demographic differences of post-traumatic growth of vocational college students, and analyzes the influence of perceptive social support on post-traumatic growth of vocational college students and the mediating role of rumination and self-compassion.On this basis, the types and characteristics of trauma faced by vocational high school students as well as the necessary cognitive processes and related factors to achieve post-traumatic growth are discussed,in order to provide theoretical reference for the study of positive psychological intervention in post-traumatic growth of vocational high school students. Therefore, based on the law of physical and mental development of vocational college students and the particularity of their social roles, and starting from the practical problem of post-traumatic growth of vocational college students, this study is mainly divided into two aspects.Study 1 adopts quantitative study. In this study, students from a vocational school in Jiangxi Province were selected as subjects, using the perceptive Social Support Scale(PSSS),the simplified Chinese version of the Event-related Rumination Questionnaire(C-ERRI),the self-compassion Scale(SCS)and the post-traumatic Growth Scale(PTGI)as the research tools.A total of 3350 valid questionnaires were collected. The results show that there is a correlation betw een the four variables. In addition, rumination and self-compassion play a chain mediating role in the relationship between perceived social support and post-t raumatic growth. After data examination, there are three significant paths, namely, direct path: perceived social support → post-traumatic growth;Indirect path(1): Understanding social support → rumination → post-traumatic growth; In direct path(2): Understanding social support → self-compassion → post-traum atic growth;Indirect path(3): Understanding social support → rumination →self-compassion → post-traumatic growth. It is understood that social support can affect post-traumatic growth directly,as well as through rumination and self-compassion.In addition, ruminative rumination and self-compassion play a chain mediating role in the relationship between perceived social support and post-t raumatic growth. After data examination, there are three significant paths, namely, direct path: perceived social support → post-traumatic growth;Indirect path(1): Understanding social support → rumination → post-traumatic growth; In direct path(2): Understanding social support → self-compassion → post-traum atic growth;Indirect path(3): Understanding social support → rumination →self-compassion → post-traumatic growth. It is understood that social support can affect post-traumatic growth directly,as well as through rumination and self-compassion.On the basis of quantitative research, qualitative research method is adopted as a supplement in study 2.The purpose of study 2 is to discuss the types and characteristics of trauma faced by vocational college students,as well as the necessary cognitive processes and related factors to realize post-traumatic growth through interview method,in order to provide theoretical reference for positive psychological intervention research of post-traumatic growth of vocational college students. The primary information after the interview was analyzed using grounded theory method, and 120 initial codes,12 axis codes and 3 core codes were extracted.Based on this, the paper summarizes the types of traumatic events experienced by current vocational college students and extracts two core concepts from the written materials, namely "understanding social support" and "post-traumatic growth".Combined with the results of data analysis and interview analysis,it can be seen that the trauma of higher vocational students is the result of the integrated action of family, school and society.Post-traumatic growth is a dynamic cognitive evolution process, and the individual cognition will gradually change from the passive intrusive meditation focusing on emotions to the active purposive meditation on the significance of events. In this process, understanding social support and self-compassion are the key factors to realize their cognitive transformation.Based on this, how to promote individuals from negative intrusive meditation to positive proactive meditation is also the focus of psychological intervention work. After sorting out the data and interview results, this study puts forward suggestions for psychological counseling intervention of higher vocational students from the following four aspects:(1)Attach importance to the construction of psychological work of higher vocational students, and establish a psychological counseling system that combines point, line and surface;(2)Improve the psychological crisis intervention mechanism and guide vocational students to face trauma;(3)To improve trauma self-help strategies and cultivate positive external attribution among vocational students;(4)The home-school collaborative mode can jointly improve the understanding of social support level of vocational students. |
