A Study On The Creation Of Female Writers In Northeast Liberated Areas

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan in 1945,the literature of Northeast Liberated Area rises with the establishment of the revolutionary base of Northeast liberated Area by the Communist Party of China.As a literary form with strong political attributes,the literature of the Northeast Liberated Areas has inherited the literary and artistic traditions of Yan’an and fully implemented the literary and artistic direction established by Mao Zedong in his Speech at the Yan’an Literary and Art Symposium.In the literature of the Northeast Liberated Areas,there is still a stream of female literature,which can be called "the creation of female writers in the Northeast Liberated Areas".The main body of its creation is a group of female writers who during the War of Liberation,rushed to the Northeast Liberation Area to carry out political tasks,carry out literary creation,and practice the spirit of Mao Zedong’s Speech at the Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium.This group of female writers mainly includes Chen Xuezhao,Cao Ming,Bai Lang,Yan Yiyan,Li Na,Lin Lan,and others.The creation of women writers in the Northeast Liberated Areas is carried out in a certain writing context.The political context on which it is based includes not only the relatively loose political context before the Yan’an Rectification Movement,but also the relatively strict political context of the Northeast Liberated Area under the provisions of the Speech at the Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium after the Yan’an Rectification Movement.In addition to the political context,the creation of women writers in the Northeast Liberated Areas cannot be separated from a certain cultural context.The cultural context here mainly refers to the cultural context of the May 4th Enlightenment and the mass cultural context generated by the proletarian revolution.The creation of women writers in the liberated areas of Northeast China in the context of the above-mentioned writing shows an unusually distinctive political character and pursues the typicality of the expression of political consciousness.Under the guidance of the central idea of The Speech,women writers in the Northeast Liberated Areas have gone deep into the daily lives of the people,actively wrote about the land reform movement and industrial construction implemented by the Party in the Northeast Liberated Areas,and conducted political enlightenment and ideological reshaping for the people of the Northeast.At the same time,they have actively implemented Mao Zedong’s "national form" proposition and popular literary and artistic line,organically integrating the expression of political consciousness into literary creation.In addition to its distinctive political character,gender consciousness writing is also an important dimension in the creation of women writers in the Northeast Liberated Areas.Under the strong constraints of mainstream political discourse,the female writing created by women writers in the Northeast Liberated Areasa consciously followed the literary and artistic guidelines of the Yan ’an Forum on Literature and Art,showing their identification and expression of the revolutionary discourse in their works.At the same time,the women writers in the liberated areas of northeast China did not give up the position of women,the deep spiritual awareness of women has prompted them to consciously pay attention to the vulnerable state of women’s survival,demonstrating a "female humanitarian spirit".In order to maximize the extension of women’s consciousness under political regulations,women writers in the Northeast Liberated Areas have weakened and deformed their female writing.Weakening mainly refers to the implicit transmission and implicit expression of female voices;Metamorphosis mainly refers to the male and neutral transformation of female consciousness into revolutionary politics and national discourse.Thus,the female writing created by women writers in the Northeast Liberated Areas presents a complex state in which feminism,revolutionary politics,and national state discourse are intertwined.
