As one of China’s important provinces,Hubei Province enjoys a superior geographical location and is known as the "Gateway to Nine Provinces".It has a profound cultural heritage and its traditional opera culture holds an important position.Hubei’s local opera forms are diverse,including Sanbanggumu,Huagu opera,Han opera,Chu opera,Hubei drum opera and many other forms of opera that are active on the stage of Chinese culture.Among them,Han opera is the most distinctive.The modern Han opera piece "Red Detachment of Women" is a representative work of modern Han opera,with outstanding character images and a plot with significant dramatic conflict.This paper will take the two representative singing sections of the protagonist Wu Qinghua in "Red Detachment of Women"-"Undead Wu Qinghua,I am still alive in this world" and "I have found a savior,and I have seen the red flag" as research objects.The paper will analyze these two singing sections from two aspects: music analysis and singing analysis,and explore the significance of Han opera singing in the reference of ethnic vocal music performance. |
