"Huangmei opera was originally called Huangmei tune,also known as Huai cavity,Ergao cavity and Wan tune." It originated from the Caicha tune in Huangmei County,Hubei Province,and is one of the five major types of Chinese opera in Anhui Province.On 20 May 2006,Huangmei opera was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.Huangmei opera has an irreplaceable historical status and local colour due to its own strong local characteristics,which makes it irreplaceable at the level of history and culture,the level of regional cultural development and the level of folk art,and has certain research value.Huangmei opera,as one of the five classic Chinese opera genres and with a large number of representative repertoire.In this article,the author will take a representative and well-known work,The Matching of the Immortals,as the object of study,and select three of its classic and emotionally-charged songs,namely "The years in the heavenly palace are too miserable","Brother must not be in tears",and "Through this analysis,we hope to gain a clearer understanding of the singing style and techniques of traditional Huangmei opera works.In addition to deepening the style and techniques of Huangmei opera,we absorb and learn from them,and then combine them with modern methods of folk vocal singing to add colour to the singing of the author’s major,and hope to contribute our own modest contribution to the cultural heritage and singing of Huangmei opera.
