Thailand is an important partner country of China’s "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" initiative.According to statistics,as of 2022,more than 2000 schools in Thailand have opened Chinese courses,with more than one million Chinese learners.The number of Chinese teachers and volunteers dispatched by our country is increasing day by day,but the teaching problems we face are also endless.Classroom management is one of the common main issues.Classroom management is an important link that affects the effectiveness of classroom teaching,as well as an important support for shaping student behavior and promoting classroom growth.This article revolves around classroom management,with Thailand as the cultural background,and focuses on the degree thesis of "Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages" in the past decade.Based on these practical papers,the aim is to study the basic characteristics of Thai Chinese language classrooms and summarize the characteristics of Thai Chinese language classrooms from the perspectives of teachers and learners.Through research,The characteristics of Thai Chinese classrooms are the main manifestations of: the universality and concentration of problem behavior,the randomness of student behavior,and the activity of the classroom atmosphere.The problems of Chinese Chinese teachers’ classroom management are manifested in the limitations of teachers management,single interactive mode,excessive relying on Thai local teachers,lack of prestige of teachers,and frequent cultural conflicts.According to the problems that occur,the author puts forward reference suggestions from the perspectives of Chinese Chinese teachers and management units. |
