| As globalization continues to unfold, the interdisciplinary research field of translation and internationalization is on the rise.Chapters 20 and 24 of the Routledge Handbook of Translation and Globalization provide valuable reflections and observations for researchers in news translation and advertising translation, which delve into the role of news translation, terminologies of advertising translation and promotional translation among other topics. Therefore, the translator chooses to translate a portion of the content to provide reference for translation scholars and learners.According to Eugene A.Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory, translation means reproducing the source language’s messages appropriately and naturally from semantics to styles. The translator has analyzed the source texts deliberately and guided the translation project with functional equivalence.Targeted at the difficulties of terminologies, adverbs and relative clause, the translator attempts to reproduce accurate and idiomatic translation in line with the characteristics of research papers by means of the translation techniques including amplification, annotation, division and shift. |
