Ni Yuanlu was a famous writer and calligrapher in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.The Poetry of Ni Wenzhen and the Remains of the Duke of Ni Wenzheng are Ni Yuanlu’s most important extant poetry collections,and also the most important textual basis for analyzing,studying and interpreting his poems.Ni Yuanlu’s twists and turns of life experience played a vital role in the formation of his outlook on life and values,and the talent,knowledge,ambition and ideology forged in this process are the foundation of his poetry creation.Ni Yuanlu had a lot of friends.During his stay in the Academy,he was called "the three trees in the late Ming Dynasty" with Huang Daozhou and Wang Duo.During his official period,he also made friends with Wang Siren,Wen Zhenmeng and other loyal and righteous men.In the late Ming Dynasty,when the political turmoil and changes,Ni Yuanlu has a firm political stance and distinct personality.His poems mostly describe the personal experience,current affairs changes,people’s livelihood and the world,pointing to the current problems,all with common sense.The full text consists of three parts: introduction,text and appendix.The introduction includes the origin of the topic,research significance,research status and research methods.The first part of the text mainly combs Ni Yuanlu’s life experience.Ni Yuanlu not only experienced the change of political power in Wanli,Taichang,Tianqi and Chongzhen periods in his life,but also witnessed the whole process of the fall of the Ming Dynasty.Such complicated political environment had an important impact on Ni Yuanlu’s creation psychology.The second part examines the friends of Ni Yuanlu.Ni Yuanlu is a typical scholar in the south of the Yangtze River.He is elegant and elegant,thoughtful and far-off,and also has the spirit of bearing the world.In the third part,Ni Yuanlu’s poems are divided into chronicle poems,scenic poems,poems for singing and answering,court poems and painting poems.From the analysis and interpretation of his poems,it is concluded that Ni Yuanlu pays attention to writing and painting in the content of his poems,advocating the orthodox thought of Confucianism,and insisting on the form of "my method is selfvalued",trying to change the creative tendency.The fourth part discusses the artistic features of Ni Yuanlu’s poetry.Ni Yuanlu learns from other people and integrates calligraphy,painting techniques,ideas and poetry creation,which greatly enriches the expression form of poetry art and forms a unique style of poetry.Through the overall study of his poetry,we can get a glimpse of the style of poetry creation in the late Ming Dynasty.
