| Ni Yuanlu(1593-1644)is a model of the representative of the late Ming innovative calligraphers who shared books with others.However,due to the fact that Ni Yuanlu’s book learning materials and his discussion on book learning are seldom seen,his performance in calligraphy is ignored but his loyal and filial character is praised.Therefore,this article takes Kang Youwei’s evaluation of Ni Yuanlu in his "Guangyizhou Shuangyu" as the breakthrough point and deeply analyzes thedeep relationship and performance of "new principles" and "Abnormalities" between Ni Yuanlu’s artistic thought and calligraphy creation,between his calligraphy art and his character.First of all,this paper analyzes the historical background and era context of Kang Youwei’s "New Principles and Abnormalities",and draws its direction and its importance to Ni Yuanlu’s calligraphy art research.Then,from Ni Yuanlu’s life experience and background,we will explore the deep reasons and demands of his "New Principles and Abnormalities".Then,based on Ni Yuanlu’s articles and the evaluation of his friends and future generations,this paper combs and analyzes "new principles",his character,and the view of learning from the ancients and innovation.Then,it will make a detailed analysis of the special presentation of brushwork,structure,ink method,and composition in his works to interpret his "abnormal" calligraphy creation.In the end,it presents a "New Principles and Abnormalities" in which artistic practice and personality charm,calligraphy thought,and calligraphy creation is mutual,cause and effect explain each other.And from this,it is extended to the inspiration and reference significance of "New Principles and Abnormalities" to the art practice of today’s calligraphy,which is in the "chasing the new and admiring the different". |
