As a close neighbor of China,Southeast Asia with its geographical location is particularly important to China.This region is not only a typical place integrating land and sea,but also a key node for China’s implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.Since its implementation,China and Southeast Asian countries have carried out close cooperation under the framework of the initiative and achieved fruitful results with the bilateral strategic partnership entering a new stage.However,due to geographical differences and other aspects,the Belt and Road Initiative in this region encounters many challenges.In order to deepen the promotion of the initiative,it is necessary to analyze the risks faced by the initiative in Southeast Asia and propose specific countermeasures based on the vast geographical condition involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.In view of this,this study intends to explore the risks,factors and strategies of the Belt and Road in Southeast Asia from the geopolitical perspective.This study includes three parts: introduction,text,and conclusion.The first part is introduction,which refers to Chapter 1.First of all,it outlines the research background and significance of the the risk and countermeasures of the Belt and Road in Southeast Asia from the geopolitical perspective;Second,it systematically sorts out basic concepts such as geography and geopolitics,as well as relevant traditional geopolitical theories of western countries,so as to provide theoretical support for the following article;Besides,in literature review the research achievements of domestic and foreign scholars are comprehensively reviewed and evaluated,providing ideas and theoretical basis for the later research;Finally,the study achieves overall understanding of the article,clarifies three research methods selected in this paper.The second part is the main body,which refers to chapters 2 to 5.Chapter 2 mainly expounds the transcendence practice of the Belt and Road Initiative on the Western traditional cognition of geopolitics and the transcendence practice of the Belt and Road construction on the Western traditional behavior of geopolitics in Southeast Asia,and establishes analysis framework of this paper,laying the foundation for the later research.Chapter 3 divides the risks of the the Belt and Road in Southeast Asia into national,regional and global levels respectively;Chapter 4,based on the spatial risk division,makes a perspective on national,regional and global spatial risk factors of the Belt and Road Initiative in Southeast Asia;Chapter 5 proposes specific countermeasures from the national,regional and global levels in response to the multiple challenges that the Belt and Road may face in Southeast Asia.The third part is the conclusion,which refers to Chapter 6.This part summarizes the views in the full text,putting forward prospects for the promotion of the Belt and Road in countries,regions along the route and even the world.The analysis of the risks and countermeasures of the Belt and Road in Southeast Asia from the perspective of geopolitics is not only conducive to the continuous promotion of the initiative in the region,but also provides a useful reference for its promotion in countries and regions along the routes and even the whole world.At the same time,based on the Belt and Road Initiative,this study starts from the macro-perspective,focuses on the systematic content of the coordination of factors in low and high political fields,explores the cooperation factors that may exist in military and political competition,provides different perspectives for the study of geopolitics,so as to supplement and improve the cognition of geopolitics in the context of Western-centered theory. |
