A Report On The Interpretation Of The Business Lecture:China's "One Belt One Road" Initiative And Its Evolving Growth Strategy

China's president Xi Jinping proposed “Belt and Road” initiative in 2013,which agrees with the developmental demands both at home and abroad,and is well accepted and participated in by countries along this economic belts and various regions in China.This report selects the business lecture of “China's ‘One Belt One Road' Initiative Strategy and Its Evolving Growth Strategy” held by Am Cham HK,an international organization in HK as the interpreting material.It adopts the dynamic RDA model as the instruction to illustrate skills and methods in interpreting practice.And it is conducted mainly from three aspects,including listening comprehension,memorizing and expression.This report mainly includes four chapters:Chapter one briefly introduces the background and significance of the subject;Chapter two describes the pre-interpreting preparation and the implementation process;In chapter three,RDA model was used as the theoretical guidance so as to analyze and discuss about the problems occurring in the interpretation practice.Eventually,the strategies used at the stages of listening comprehension,retention and expressing were summarized;Chapter four presents the conclusion,and the deficiencies and inappropriate habits were listed on the basis of the interpretation practice.It goes on to propose improvement suggestions with a view to better applying them to future interpreting practice.The completion of the report not only elaborates the enlightenment of the dynamic RDA model for the interpreting practice but also enriches empirical cases for studies on the model.
