Research On The Construction Of Competency Model Of Chinese Dragon And Lion Dance Coaches

Research purpose: Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has mentioned cultural confidence for many times,and pointed out that cultural confidence is the full affirmation of a nation and a country for its own national culture.Dragon dance and lion dance is not only a sport,but also contains the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,and is the epitome of the sports spirit of the Chinese nation.As one of the excellent traditional cultures of the Chinese nation,dragon and lion dance must be inherited and carried forward.The coaches of dragon and lion dance play an important role in the inheritance and dissemination of dragon and lion culture.Based on the competency theory,this study constructs the competency model for Chinese dragon and lion dance coaches,which provides reference for the recruitment,selection,training,assessment and career planning of Chinese dragon and lion dance coaches in China.Research methods: literature data method,behavioral event interview method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,Delphi method.Results: This study takes the construction of competency model of dragon and lion dance coaches in China.Construction process: 1.Extract and screen the competency index through literature data method,work analysis and behavioral event interview method;2.The Delphi method was used to screen the competency index again,and the competency index was divided into four dimensions.3.Investigate experts’ opinions on the dimension division through the questionnaire survey method,and describe the competency index according to the dimension division,and compile the competency Assessment Scale of Chinese Dragon and lion Dance coaches for measuring the competency;4.Test the data by mathematical statistics method,and finally construct the competency model of Chinese dragon and lion dance coaches.Conclusion: The competency model of dragon and lion dance coaches consists of17 competency indicators in four dimensions: achievement motivation,flexibility,competitiveness and cohesion;teaching demonstration ability,competition experience,organization and coordination ability,planning ability and material selection;establishment and development relationship dimension consists of communication ability,empathy,teamwork and influence;and cognitive dimension consists of innovation,scientific research ability,insight and teaching philosophy.In the process of research,the Competency Assessment Scale of Dragon and Lion Dance coaches in China was revised,and through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,the scientificity and validity of the compiled scale were guaranteed,and can be used as a tool to measure the competence of dragon and lion dance coaches.The competency model of Chinese dragon and lion dance coaches constructed by this research institute can provide reference for the recruitment,selection,training,performance evaluation,and career planning of Chinese dragon and lion dance coaches.
