As the country’s comprehensive national power continues to improve and the demand for cultural innovation and development expands,a new cultural trend has been bred through the export of traditional Chinese culture and mainstream values in the context of the current society.With the brand as the carrier,Chinese culture and Chinese elements as the core,through the regeneration and reproduction of modern aesthetics,the china-chic is respected and loved by the Generation Z.The Generation Z group has grown up witnessing the development and strength of the country’s culture,technology and trends,and their attitude towards international brands and foreign cultures has diminished.They value face value,focus on their own experiences,relieve stress through uncertain consumption,and are keen to share the happiness that comes with shopping in their communities.However,while enjoying the dividends of social development,Generation Z also faces the pressure and challenges of social expectations and personal values,and is unable to resist or accept this anxious state of life,creating a youth subculture of self-deprecation,playfulness and mild resistance.Contemporary youth health practices are representative of this contradictory behaviour,with Generation Z gaining an illusory sense of self-improvement through delayed physiological regulation,and almost feverishly consuming anxiety to construct an ideal healthy self.Health has become an "elaborated" personal image,which is characterised by a fashionable aesthetic discourse.Based on the above background,this study is based on the design perspective,deciphering the design path of the china-chic from the levels of symbolic perception,consumption experience and technical rationalist,and extracting the graphic,glyph and colour elements of the national trend visual symbols based on cultural experience and collective memory for design reference.Trace the origins of traditional Chinese culture and explore the medicinal,aesthetic and humanistic values of Chinese herbs to provide guidance to the Z generation in their health care.Based on the theory of symbolic consumption,the paper affirms the dynamic nature of the china-chic consumer and points out the symbolic,differential,social and branding characteristics of the china-chic symbolic consumption to inspire the key points of the china-chic herbal health care design.This paper also conducts user research from a market perspective by comparing the current situation of related application platforms with user demand analysis,establishing user portraits and analyzing scene outpoints as the basis for constructing design models and design strategies in this paper.By introducing the Bainter-Schmidt user experience system,the paper constructs a five-dimensional model of the Generation Z herbal health application in the context of the national trend,from the superficial sensory experience to the behavioral experience,emotional experience,associated experience and brand experience.For each experience layer,a corresponding design strategy is proposed,and the design strategy is further applied to the "He Wu" app as a practical object.Therefore,this study takes china-chic as the starting point,explores the design path of china-chic to build up the brand image of china-chic;takes the Gen Z group as the research anchor point,provides guidance for the future development of china-chic,and practically solves the physical and mental health problems of Gen Z;takes Chinese herbs as the research entry point,traces the origin from the excellent Chinese traditional culture,inherits the medicinal value,ornamental value,humanistic value and philosophical wisdom of herbs;takes user experience as the The application software of this paper is the support point,which becomes the final carrier of the national tide brand of this paper.Through the above systematic research work,the design loop is completed between china-chic and herbal health care,china-chic and Generation Z,and Generation Z and herbal health care,establishing a connection point between traditional health care culture and modern life,and building a Generation Z health care application with a good user experience.
