Cohesion and coherence are important topics in the study of text linguistics.The existence of cohesive words can not only achieve the effect of explicit cohesion in form,but also increase the coherence of discourse implicitly,so as to better help both parties to communicate and understand,promote the smooth progress of communication,and promote people’s deeper communication.In the daily expression of Chinese(native speakers of Chinese),different cohesive words are often used,but sometimes these cohesive words do not play a cohesive role;For non-native Chinese speakers,the use of cohesive words can better reflect their Chinese learning level,which is the key and difficult point of their learning.After the investigation of the author,cohesive words have become more and more important in the teaching of international Chinese.Different scholars will examine the role of cohesive words in discourse cohesion from different perspectives.The author intends to count the title words spoken by foreign students and the cohesive words spoken by Chinese hosts from the variety show "Informal Talks",analyze the similarities and differences in their use,summarize the problems in the use of cohesive words in the oral expression of foreign students,cause the importance of oral teaching,and put forward feasible suggestions for teaching.This paper is divided into eight parts.The introduction part mainly includes the background of the topic selection,previous research summary,research content,theoretical basis and research methods.The second part mainly analyzes the variety show Informal Talks,including the source of corpus,the definition of cohesive words and the reason of word selection.The third to fifth part analyzes“所以”,“就是”and“然后”in detail.The third part introduces the usage of“所以”,including its semantic cohesion and pragmatic cohesion.Combined with the author’s statistics on the use of“所以”by foreigners in the program"Informal Talks",the use of“所以”is analyzed from the use frequency,location and aspects to explore the use bias.The fourth part introduces the semantic and pragmatic usage of“就是”,and explores the errors in the use of foreigners by combining the similarities and differences in the use of foreigners in the statistical comparison of corpus.The fifth part introduces the usage of“然后”as a cohesive word,makes a comparative study of the use of“然后”by Chinese and foreigners,and analyzes the errors and causes of the use of“然后”by foreigners.In the sixth part,a comparative analysis of“所以”,“就是”and“然后”is conducted from the aspects of presentation,acquisition difficulty and use of cohesive functions,combined with the corpus and previous analysis.In the seventh part,based on the above analysis of the usage of these cohesive words and the causes of bias,combined with the teaching status of Chinese oral cohesive words(including HSKK syllabus,teaching materials and teaching),feasible suggestions are put forward for oral teaching and textbook compilation.In the last part of the paper,the author summarizes all,explains the innovation points and deficiencies of this paper,and looks forward to the future.Through the whole text,the author chooses the typical cohesive words“所以”,“就是”and“然后”in the spoken language materials,and explores the same topic,this paper analyzes the similarities and differences between Chinese and foreigners in the use of these cohesive words,and puts forward some feasible suggestions for teaching. |
