| Epidemic films have attracted the attention of the audience and the market in recent years,as a type of film based on reality,it has a certain social background,and is also closely related to the survival and life of human beings,these films are either based on real epidemic events in human history,or mix sci-fi,action,horror and other diverse elements to show the daily life and mental state of human beings in the face of disasters in the form of video art,conveying practical significance and aesthetic value.Space is an important dimension for understanding and interpreting film art,and although previous research on epidemic films has paid attention to some typical spaces,there has been a lack of systematic spatial construction research.ces,there has been a lack of systematic spatial construction research.Through combing and analyzing the text of the epidemic films,it can be found that there are three typical spatial patterns represented by open space,closed space and semi-enclosed space in the film,which not only show the epidemic or real,or exaggerated disaster landscape,but also carry rich cultural representations.Focusing on the screen space of the film,the director shapes the film space through the picture,color and sound,and the position and time expression of the characters in the space also affect the spatial construction in the epidemic films,and finally forms the unique aesthetic significance of the epidemic films: first,taking the virus and the body as clues,bringing spatial anxiety to the audience through the ubiquitous "virus",and causing nausea and fear to the audience through the infected images of healthy bodies;The second is the ruined landscape of the disaster and its aesthetic significance,which finally completes the dynamic construction of the epidemic film space.Through the exploration of the spatial construction in epidemic films,it can be found that epidemic films have formed a relatively mature and fixed narrative system,and there are some duplicating in spatial patterns.In the past two years,the creation of epidemic films has been innovative,and the narrative focus has gradually tilted to the daily life of ordinary people,presenting delicate,emotional,and private emotions,which is a new direction for future epidemic films to break stylized narratives and innovate spatial construction. |
