| With the rapid development of technology,a large amount of information comes one after another.Among the various information materials,visual images such as pictures,posters and advertisements provide convenience for information dissemination,and the application of multimodal discourse analysis has emerged.Multimodal research has gradually developed into the field of linguistics.research in other fields.This paper aims to analyze the applicability and effectiveness of multimodal video materials in international Chinese elementary classes from the perspective of Multimodal Discourse Analysis through the combination of modal symbols such as vocal language,facial expressions,and body language in multimodal video materials.The value of teaching,and from the teaching practice,try to use video materials with different modal characteristics to the classroom design scheme in international Chinese teaching,and provide new materials and application ideas for the use of video materials in international Chinese teaching.By studying the application of video materials in international Chinese education from the multi-modal perspective,this paper chooses to apply multi-modal video materials to elementary Chinese teaching classes.The author uses Zhang Delu’s comprehensive theory of Multi-modal Discourse Analysis based on previous research.The framework uses Classroom observation method and Case analysis to explore the following three questions: What are the main modes contained in the video material?According to the modal advantages and characteristics of video materials,how can we guide us to choose reasonable teaching videos for elementary Chinese classes? How to apply video materials in elementary Chinese classes under Multimodal Discourse Analysis? This article attempts to analyze and demonstrate the application of video materials in Chinese teaching from a multi-modal perspective,contribute to the application of video materials in international Chinese teaching,change the previous single-modal teaching methods,fully mobilize the senses of vision and hearing,and improve students Interest and enthusiasm in learning Chinese. |
