A Study Of Two-Part Sayings In Gansu Dialect

Two-part allegorical saying is a familiar phrase with a relatively fixed structure and colloquial characteristics in Chinese,which consists of two parts with a citation relationship.The object of this paper is to study the dialectal hysterics of Gansu.This paper is guided by the theories of cultural linguistics,linguistic culture,folk linguistics,linguistic folklore,history,geography and other disciplines,and uses methods of investigation,description,comparison and quantitative statistics to study the dialectal hysterics of Gansu region in terms of content,semantics,structure,rhetoric and cultural connotation.After analyzing and researching,the dialectal hiccups in Gansu were divided into eight areas,namely,life experience,daily life,family ethics,agricultural production,culture and education,health care,and commerce.They are divided into two categories: harmonic and non-harmonic hysterics.The structure is characterized by flexibility,complexity,and the diversity of the "citation" and "note" structure.The basic meaning is divided into the original meaning and the other meaning,while the additional meaning is divided into image color,emotional color and class color;and the semantic convergence is divided into single meaning,multiple meaning,synonymy and antonymy.The rhetorical effect is mainly reflected in the rhetorical effect.The rhetorical figurative effect is reflected in the wide range of materials and the use of rhetoric,commonly used rhetoric,such as anthropomorphism,exaggeration,demonstration and metaphor;the rhetoric of hysterical language also has the characteristics of wit and irony.This paper also explains the regional culture of Gansu from both material and spiritual aspects.The material culture is analyzed from eight aspects: geography,farming,animal husbandry and grassland,architecture,food,clothing,industry,and transportation,while the spiritual culture is analyzed from four aspects: art,religion,folklore,and ethics.Through the study of hysterics,we believe that hysterics are rich in content,deep in regional culture,popular and colloquial,local and unique;stable in structure,capable of expressing meanings other than literal meanings,stereotypical and flexible;vivid in expression,expressive,witty and satirical,ideological and literary.
