Common prosperity is mainly reflected in the income growth of all members of society and the reduction of the income gap among residents. The report of the 20 th Party Congress put forward the new goals of China’s struggle in the new era and new journey, once again emphasizing the need to solidly promote common prosperity and enhance people’s well-being.With the increase of machine-based production and agricultural productivity, the demand for labor in agriculture itself has declined, and more and more laborers are in the state of hidden unemployment and their income is declining;at the same time, the lack of vocational skills, language communication barriers and low level of human capital accumulation among laborers themselves lead to At the same time, laborers’ lack of vocational skills, language communication barriers, and low level of human capital accumulation lead to hindrance in employment between industries or regions and slow income growth. To achieve common prosperity,we must focus on building the capacity of the low-income disadvantaged groups to obtain the initial distribution of income, taking the problem of unbalanced and insufficient development as the root.Based on this, improving language literacy and accumulating human capital through national common language education is important for enhancing employability, stabilizing employment, promoting income growth, and realizing the vision of common prosperity. In this context, this thesis compares the literature on the employment and income of Xinjiang minority labor force,on the basis of which language is found to be an important factor affecting employment and income. The thesis also adopts an empirical analysis method.Meanwhile, this thesis adopts an empirical analysis method, taking the minority labor force in Xinjiang as the research object,to describe the basic personal situation, the participation degree of national common language education, the effect of national common language education, employment and income of minority labor force in Xinjiang.Logit model, ordered Logit model and OLS regression model were constructed to empirically test the effects of national common language education on non-farm employment, employment satisfaction and income of minority labor force in Xinjiang, and further tested the heterogeneity of the effects of national common language education on employment and income of labor force groups of different genders and ages through group regression. The results of the study show that(1)the effect of national common language education in Xinjiang is significant, and the national common language application ability of minority labor force is significantly improved;(2)national common language education has a facilitating effect on non-farm employment transfer of minority labor force in Xinjiang, and this facilitating effect is most obvious among the labor force of middle and low age groups, but there is no significant difference in terms of gender;(3)national common language education has a positive effect on the employment satisfaction of minority laborers in Xinjiang, and the promotion effect of national common language education on the employment satisfaction of male and low-age laborers is the most significant;(4)national common language education has a positive effect on the income of minority laborers in Xinjiang, and this positive effect is most obvious among female laborers and low-age laborers.Based on the findings of the theoretical and empirical analyses, and based on the current situation of national common language education and employment and income of minority labor force in Xinjiang, the following suggestions are made: vigorously promote national common language education to improve the common language application ability of minority labor force;pay attention to the specificity and universality of national common language education to enhance the actual effect of language training;improve the employment environment of minority labor force in Xinjiang to promote their employment and income growth.
