Research On The "Deformed" Characters Of Li Peifu’s Novels

As one of the important representative writers of the "Central Plains Writers Group",Li Peifu has been working hard in the Central Plains for decades,and has published a series of excellent works,which have had a profound influence.In Li Peifu’s novels,Li Peifu has shaped many distinct series of characters,such as the image of the village party secretary,the image of the displaced,the image of intellectuals,and so on.The academic circle has studied these characters more and discussed them deeply.However,the "deformed" characters in Li Peifu’s novels are also worth paying attention to,which is an important composition of the character series in the writer’s works,and has special significance.At present,there are still relatively few studies on the "deformed" characters in Li Peifu’s works,and the lack of special and systematic research does not occupy an important position in the study of the character types in Li Peifu’s novels.Throughout Li Peifu’s novels,there are a variety of "deformed" characters.These "deformed" character types not only come from Li Peifu’s childhood life and life experience,but also are influenced by the writing tradition of "deformed" characters in China and the West.In the shaping of specific "deformed" characters,Li Peifu used the "comparison of beauty and ugliness" and imagery to write "deformed" characters,so that the "deformed" characters not only have sociological value,but also have cultural and aesthetic value.This paper takes the "deformed" characters in Li Peifu’s novels as the research object,and on the basis of close reading of the text,carries out a comprehensive study on the "deformed" characters in Li Peifu’s novels,and deeply explores the sources,shaping methods and values of the "deformed" characters in Li Peifu’s novels.The paper is divided into three parts: introduction,main text and conclusion.The introduction includes the background of Li Peifu’s "deformed" characters,the research status of Li Peifu’s novels,the definition of "deformed" characters,the selection of research scope and research value.The text is divided into four chapters: The first chapter summarizes the types of "deformity" characters in Li Peifu’s novels,mainly from the "deformity" of external limbs and the "deformity" of internal physiology.The "deformity" of external limbs can be divided into dwarfism,luo pot and eye disease,and the "deformity" of internal physiology is mainly analyzed from the sexual "deformity".The second chapter discusses the creation sources of "deformed" characters in Li Peifu’s novels,mainly from the writer’s personal life experience and the writing tradition of "deformed" characters.The experience of personal life mainly develops from two aspects: childhood and life experience.The writing tradition of Li Peifu’s "deformed" characters is mainly developed from the inheritance and development of the writing tradition of Chinese "deformed" characters and the reference to the writing of western "deformed" characters.The third chapter studies the shaping mode of "deformed" characters in Li Peifu’s novels,mainly from two aspects of "comparison of beauty and ugliness" and imagery."The contrast between beauty and ugliness" starts from the characters themselves and between the characters,and the imagery starts from the plant image and the animal image.The fourth chapter summarizes the value of "deformed" characters,mainly from three aspects of sociological value,cultural value and aesthetic value,and affirming the value of Li Peifu’s "deformed" character shaping.
