| Ecological aesthetics theory has been developed in China for nearly 40 years and has produced a wealth of research results.As a late-developing aesthetic concept,the process of constructing ecological aesthetic theory in China from scratch,from a subtle voice to a boisterous one,can be traced in academic conferences.At the same time,the continuous expansion of ecological aesthetics conferences in terms of scale and topic area has also created good conditions for the expansion of the connotation of ecological aesthetics theory and the construction of a comprehensive theoretical system,further promoting the construction and development of ecological aesthetics theory in China.This paper is divided into four main parts.The first section provides a macro overview of the thematic academic conferences on ecological aesthetics,taking Zeng Fanren’s classification of the stages of theoretical research on ecological aesthetics in China as a condition for comprehension.In general,the conferences on ecological aesthetics show an overall trend from less frequent to more frequent,from small to large scale,and from domestic to international.This trend reflects the deepening of theoretical construction and development of ecological aesthetics in China on the one hand,and the importance of academic conferences for theoretical research on the other.The second part analyzes the discussions on the theoretical sources of Chinese eco-aesthetics in academic conferences.The search for theoretical sources has always been an important topic in the theoretical construction of Chinese eco-aesthetics.Both the ecological wisdom embedded in traditional Chinese culture,the ecological inspiration in Western philosophical and aesthetic thought,and Marxist ecological thought have been widely discussed as theoretical sources in the conference in varying degrees.The results of these discussions have confirmed the theoretical foundation of Chinese ecological aesthetics.The third part focuses on the debates in the academic conferences on ecological aesthetics,and grasps the process of constructing the theory of Chinese ecological aesthetics in the confrontation of different theories.The debate on what is "ecological aesthetics" deepens the connotation of the theory.The debate between ecological aesthetics and traditional practical aesthetics answers the question of the inevitability of the construction of Chinese ecological aesthetics theory from the perspective of aesthetic development.The debate between ecological aesthetics and environmental aesthetics highlights the localized character of Chinese ecological aesthetics theory and creates conditions for further construction of a Chinese discourse on ecological aesthetics.The debate demonstrates the complexity encountered in the process of constructing Chinese eco-aesthetics theory and promotes the examination of the legitimacy of the theory.The fourth section compares the discussions on theoretical development in the conference on ecological aesthetics,and explores the potential for the development of Chinese ecological aesthetics theory and the practical possibilities for guiding ecological practice.The elaboration of theoretical branches with strong localization characteristics,such as "ecological aesthetics" and "meta-ecological aesthetics",further expands the localization characteristics of Chinese ecological aesthetics theory.The discussion of ecocriticism in the academic conferences on ecological aesthetics has greatly enriched and developed Chinese ecological aesthetics theory.At the same time,the discussion of "ecological aesthetic education" and "ecological construction practice" at the conferences has shown the prospect of the development of ecological aesthetics in China and the vigorous vitality of the theory.In general,this paper intends to sort out and grasp the theoretical development of Chinese eco-aesthetics through the results of the theoretical construction of Chinese eco-aesthetics produced at the eco-aesthetics conferences held in China,to provide an innovative research perspective for eco-aesthetics-related research,and to enrich the research results of Chinese eco-aesthetics.Ecological aesthetics academic conferences have played an important role in the development of ecological aesthetics theory.By using conferences as an entry point to study the creation and development of Chinese eco-aesthetic theory,we can not only explore the theoretical development and sort out the development history,but also explore the inner motivation and development potential of the development of Chinese eco-aesthetic theory research based on them. |
