Research On Urban Construction From The Perspective Of Ecological Aesthetics

Eco-aesthetics is combination of ecology and aesthetics,which studies aesthetics from the perspective of ecology.The core of urban ecological construction is to maintain a harmonious relationship between man and nature and between people in urban construction,providing a comfortable living environment for those living in cities.Nowadays,the process of urban construction concerned mostly in China is how to harmoniously handle the relationship between ecological construction and urban culture.This thesis compares the old city of Kunming and the Chenggong New Area,and concludes that the ecological aesthetics has important guiding significance for the future development of urban construction and points out the right direction for the construction of China’s modern and livable cities.The six chapters are included in the thesis mainly.The main points are as follows:The introduction part in Chapter One focuses on the research purpose and significance of the research,current research status,research methods,difficulties and innovations.Chapter Two is devoted to summarize the "ecological aesthetics thought" and "urban construction thought",and introduces the close relationship between urban construction and ecological aesthetics.Further analysis of relevant theories is made to determine the theoretical basis of this thesis.Chapter Three examines the problems existing in the old city of Kunming from the perspective of ecological aesthetics.Also,it points out the main reasons for the serious destruction of human settlements,the shortage of land and people,and the inefficient transport function in the construction of Kunming’s old town and the main reasons for the problems.Chapter Four deals with the construction of Chenggong New District in the perspective of ecological aesthetics mainly.Chapter Five considers the content of eco-aesthetics theoretically,and analyzes the important implications of eco-aesthetics theory for the future development of livable city construction.Chapter Six provides the overview of the whole thesis.From the perspective of eco-aesthetics,we can interpret the urban construction of Kunming and explore the value and significance of ecological aesthetics for contemporary urban construction.
