Research On The Compilation And Current Situation Of Parents ’ Discrimination Perception Questionnaire For Disabled Children

Discrimination is the prejudice or exclusion of the disadvantaged group.Disabled groups are often discriminated against in life due to physical or mental defects.This discrimination is not only limited to the disabled group itself,but also involves people with close contact with the disabled group,such as parents of disabled children,who will also suffer joint discrimination.Research on discrimination are from the perspective of discrimination,study how perceived discrimination,discrimination perception,discrimination perception related research,"of disabled children parents discrimination perception" concept and connotation has not been really clarify,also lack of discrimination against disabled children parents reliability validity good practical measurement tools.The purpose of this study is to explore the connotation of discrimination perception of parents of disabled children,construct a theoretical model of discrimination perception of parents of disabled children,compile a discrimination perception questionnaire in line with the parents of disabled children,and put forward targeted intervention countermeasures according to the relevant research results to improve the social assistance methods.This study consists of three parts: Study 1: Taking the parents of disabled children as the research object,21 parents of disabled children in Chongqing were qualitatively interviewed to construct a theoretical model of discrimination perception of parents of disabled children.Study 2: According to the initial questionnaire compiled by Study 1,171 parents of disabled children were surveyed,and the model was constructed by exploratory factor analysis,then 209 parents were tested,and made the discrimination perception questionnaire of parents of disabled children.Study 3: Investigate the current status and influencing factors of discrimination perception of parents of disabled children.The second income scale was used as a research tool to investigate the overall discrimination perception of 209 parents and proposed targeted intervention countermeasures.The main conclusions of this study are as follows :(1)The discrimination perception of parents of children with disabilities is defined as ’the sum of negative perceptions of self-discrimination,expression discrimination and social discrimination of parents of children with disabilities ’.(2)Discrimination Perception Questionnaire for Parents of Disabled Children,a total of16 questions,divided into three dimensions : self-discrimination,expression discrimination and social discrimination.The internal consistency coefficient of the scale is 0.848,and the reliability and validity results are good.(3)The self-discrimination dimension of parents of children with disabilities is significantly different in gender,household type,child disability type,and disability level;there are significant differences in children ’s education level,disability type and disability level.Social discrimination has significant differences in children ’s education level,disability type and disability level.There are significant differences in the total score of discrimination perception in the types of household registration,education level,children ’s disability type and disability level.Parents of disabled children have a higher perception of discrimination.
