| In the early and middle Ming Dynasty,due to the policy opening up and economic recovery,literati and officials began to love playing and gardening,and scholars had a strong interest in real life.As a painting theme,gardens became popular in the painting circle.Garden painting contains rich culture,which is not only the owner’s aesthetic and emotional expression,but also the painter’s subjective emotion expression.The "Dongzhuang Atlas" created by Shen Zhou for Wu Kuan,the owner of the garden,has many differences from previous garden paintings.Contemporary scholars regard this as one of Shen Zhou’s most important atlas,but have not studied it deeply.In addition to studying the painting elements and image style of Shen Zhou’s Dongzhuang Atlas,this paper will also study the literati spirit hidden behind Dongzhuang Atlas based on images and text data,and finally make a new interpretation of the relationship between Dongzhuang and Dongzhuang Atlas.The first chapter will investigate the historical environment of the early Ming Dynasty and analyze the influence of politics and economy on the Ming Dynasty garden building thought.By understanding the historical background of the early Ming Dynasty,the purpose and reasons for the construction of Dongzhuang were investigated.Because the policy and economy directly affected the construction of Dongzhuang landscape,Shen Zhou decided to draw the contents of Dongzhuang Atlas.This paper analyzes the influence of aesthetic thoughts prevailing at this time on garden construction and construction,and then analyzes the influence of aesthetic thoughts on painting thoughts,so as to better analyze the connotation of Dongzhuang and Dongzhuang Atlas.The second chapter mainly places Wu Kuan,Dongzhuang,Shen Zhou and the Dongzhuang Atlas in the historical environment of Ming Dynasty,and briefly summarizes their basic situation.By understanding the historical background of the early Ming Dynasty,the purpose and reason of the construction of Dongzhuang were investigated.Because the policy and economy directly affected the construction of Dongzhuang landscape,the content of the Dongzhuang Atlas was determined by Shen Zhou.Secondly,it analyzes the artistic expression technique and the historical origin of the schema of Shen Zhou’s Dongzhuang Atlas.Analyze the symbolism of the objects in the atlas by comparing it with the paintings of previous masters.Finally,from the social relationship between Wu Kuan and Shen Zhou,the author speculated the intention of the painter in the creation of Dongzhuang Atlas.The relationship between the two men affected the painter’s state of mind in painting,and then affected the form of artistic works and the expression of artistic conception.Then,based on the comparison of image and text data,the relationship between Dongzhuang and the Dongzhuang Atlas is studied.The comparison between the photo album and the text data is conducted to find out the similarities and differences between the image and the text,and to explore whether the Dongzhuang Atlas faithfully depicts Dongzhuang,which lays the foundation for the narration of the following chapters.The third chapter starts with the aesthetic thought of garden and garden painting and divides it into royal garden and literati garden.It is found that there are similar ideas between them,but the forms are different.The relationship between garden and painting is very close.The concept of garden can be expressed through garden painting.To explore how royal garden painting and literati garden painting express the aesthetic concept of garden,go back to Dongzhuang Atlas from this concept.This paper discusses the aesthetic concept of "Dongzhuang Atlas" and analyzes the differences between "Dongzhuang Atlas" and other garden paintings.The fourth chapter summarizes the influence of Dongzhuang Atlas on the Wumen school of painting and the garden building concept of later generations.As a representative work of Shen Zhou’s garden theme,Dongzhuang Atlas is of great reference value to the garden and art circles.As a garden painting in the early Ming Dynasty,Dongzhuang Atlas is bound to influence the painting schema of later generations,especially the Wumen painting school with Shen Zhou as the leader,such as Wen Zhengming,Zhang Fu,etc.In short,in the Dongzhuang Atlas,Shen Zhou selected scenic spots with symbolic significance in the garden according to the owner’s request and the artist’s understanding of the ideal garden.At the same time,drawing on the previous schema techniques,this garden painting.This series of garden pamphlet conveyed the garden view of literati in the early Ming Dynasty,had a certain influence on the construction of garden culture in the late Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty,and laid the foundation for the garden painting and culture of later generations,which has important value significance. |
