As one of the important contents of positive psychology, subjective well-being is a topic of great concern and one of the important indicators of mental health. As a group of high-profile groups, the subjective well-being of adolescents is related to many factors, and from the perspective of the environment, home and school are the main places for adolescents’ daily activities. In the family environment, parents,as important members of the day and night with adolescents, daily words and deeds are closely related to the subjective well-being of adolescents. However, with the invasion of smartphones into the home, many studies have shown that the new risk factor of parental head-down behavior can negatively affect adolescent developmental adaptation and mental health. So in order to improve the subjective well-being of adolescents and promote their mental health,it is necessary to study the impact of parental phubbing on the subjective well-being of adolescents and how it affects them. Therefore, from the perspective of family, this paper discusses the relationship between father’s and mother’s phubbing and adolescent subjective happiness, and examines the mediating role of parent-child relationship satisfaction.Bandura’s interactive determinism believes that human behavior is not only affected by the environment, but also by individual cognitive factors, and the cognitive factors of adolescents in previous studies have rarely been taken into account, and adolescents are a group with independent thinking ability,so this paper takes into account adolescent cognitive factors and introduces moral judgment as a moderator variable. It also examines the moderating role of friend support outside the home environment. In this study,783 students from two junior high schools in Nanyang City,Henan Province were surveyed using the questionnaire method, with an average age of 14.16 years old,and SPSS software was used to process the data. The results of the study found:(1)The behavior of father and mother phubbing was significantly negatively correlated with the subjective well-being of adolescents, the behavior of father and mother phubbing was significantly negatively correlated with the satisfaction of father-son and mother-child relationships,father-son and motherchild relationship satisfaction were significantly positively correlated with adolescents’ subjective well-being.(2)Parent-child relationship satisfaction plays a complete mediating role in the relationship between father’s and mother’s phubbing and adolescents’ subjective well-being.(3)Moral judgment plays a moderating role between the mother phubbing and the mother-child relationship,When adolescents hold more positive moral judgments, the negative predictive effect of mother-child relationship satisfaction is weakened.Moral judgment does not play a moderating role between the father phubbing and the father-child relationship.(4)Friend support plays a moderating role in mother-child relationship satisfaction and adolescent subjective well-being,and when adolescents hold higher friend support, the positive predictive effect of motherchild relationship satisfaction on adolescent subjective well-being is enhanced.Friend support does not play a moderating role in paternity satisfaction and adolescent subjective well-being.The above results show that parental phubbing will have a negative impact on adolescents’ subjective well-being.Adolescents’ cognitive factors, moral judgments, and external environmental factors, friend support play an important role in it.These findings enrich the research on the factors affecting the subjective well-being of adolescents, and help us to make educational suggestions from the aspects of family and school,so as to improve the subjective well-being of adolescents.
