| Under the "Belt and Road" initiative,enterprises that "go out" urgently need local skilled talents who are proficient in technology,languages,and cultures.The integration and development of international Chinese education and vocational education has become an inevitable trend in today’s era.Thailand is a global model for international Chinese education and a pioneer in implementing "Chinese language + vocational skills" projects.Since 2016,it has established the "China-Thailand High-speed Railway Chinese Training Class," the "Lu Ban Workshop," and the world’s first "Language and Vocational Education College." With the deepening cooperation between China and Thailand,the demand for Chinese learning among Thai learners has gradually expanded to various professional fields.As an important part of the "Five Connections" project,the automobile industry is an important field for the development of vocational Chinese.However,at present,vocational Chinese education in Thailand faces fundamental problems of teacher and teaching material shortages,and the teaching resources for automotive maintenance Chinese are extremely scarce and urgently need to be developed.This study takes demand analysis as its theoretical guidance and uses methods such as questionnaire surveys and interviews to investigate the needs of students in automotive maintenance related majors in vocational schools,vocational school teachers,and Thai automotive industry practitioners.Based on the demand analysis,and guided by the general principles of international Chinese teaching materials development and referring to the vocational Chinese proficiency level standards,this study proposes the principles of vocational Chinese teaching material development.Based on these principles,the development of "Automotive Maintenance Chinese" teaching materials is conducted,aiming to achieve an effective combination of theoretical research and practical application.Chapter 1 provides an introduction,outlining the reasons and significance of the topic selection and defining the concept of "vocational Chinese." Chapter 2 reviews and summarizes the current status of vocational Chinese teaching resources development,analyzes the background and necessity of developing teaching resources for automotive maintenance Chinese.Chapter 3 conducts an in-depth analysis of the needs of Thai vocational school students,vocational school teachers,and Thai automotive industry practitioners from the aspects of learning needs and target scenario needs.Chapter 4 proposes the principles of developing vocational Chinese teaching resources based on the research results in the field of vocational Chinese and the conclusions of the demand analysis in Chapter 3.Based on these principles,the practical application of developing "Automotive Maintenance Chinese" teaching materials is carried out.This paper aims to explore the "lack of teaching materials" problem faced by vocational Chinese education at present and provide references and guidance for the development and construction of vocational Chinese teaching resources through theoretical and practical attempts. |
