Research On Hubei Literature And Art In Central-South Bureau Period

The Central-South Bureau was a dispatched organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China during a specific historical period,existing from 1949 to 1954.With the creation of “Changjiang literature and art”,the southward relocation of the Central Plains Xinhua Bookstore Headquarters and the establishment of the Central-South Region,Hubei ’s literary and artistic undertakings in New China began to start and gradually developed.In the early days of liberation,Wuhan gradually became a major town of literature and art in New China under the leadership of the Central-South Bureau.At present,there are few treatises on Hubei literature and art in the early period of the founding of the People ’s Republic of China,so the paper selects Hubei literature and art in the period of the CentralSouth Bureau as the research object.Based on the sorting out of Hubei ’s literary and artistic policies during this period,the thesis takes into account the literary and artistic creation and literary and artistic publishing under the guidance of literary and artistic policies,so as to present the general situation of Hubei ’s literature and art during the period of Central-South Bureau,and aims to return to the historical field at that time to explore the growth and development of Hubei ’s literature and art in the specific historical period of Central-South Bureau,which formed a certain repercussion in the whole country.At the same time,it reveals the close relationship among literature and art policy,literature and art creation and literature and art publication,analyzes the characteristics and influences of Hubei literature and art during the Central-South Bureau period,and explores the changes of contemporary Chinese literature and art production during this period,as well as the close relationship between literature and art and political ideology.The first chapter of the thesis is mainly about the sorting out and study of Hubei ’s literature and art policy during the Central-South Bureau of the Communist Party of China.The formulation of the literature and art policy of the Central-South Bureau of the CPC is guided by the central literature and art policy,but it will also make adjustments according to the actual needs of Hubei and Wuhan literature and art construction.Starting from the context of the formation of Hubei literary and artistic policy in this period,based on the diachronic combing of the specific content of literary and artistic policy,this paper explores the characteristics of Hubei literary and artistic policy,and explores the influence of literary and artistic policy on Hubei literature and art,especially the interaction influence with literary and artistic creation and literary and artistic publication.The second chapter focuses on the literary and artistic creation under the guidance of the literary and artistic policy of the Central-South Bureau.After the liberation of Wuhan,a large number of literary and artistic workers went south,together with local writers in Hubei,forming a team of literary and artistic workers in Hubei during the period of the Central-South Bureau,such as Yu Heiding,Li Ji,Chen Huangmei,Yu Lin and Ji Xuepei.Under the guidance of the literary and artistic policy of the Central-South Bureau,they took the literary publication such as “Hubei literature and art”,“Changjiang literature and art” and “Worker literature and art” as the positions,created and published many works reflecting the real life picture,praising the new era and supporting the revolutionary struggle,laying a solid foundation for the prosperity and development of Hubei literature and art.In terms of content and form,literary and artistic policies have effectively promoted the development of literary and artistic creation,and also limited the production and development,innovation and breakthrough of literature and art to a certain extent.The third chapter takes the representative literary and artistic publications of Hubei literature and art in the period of Central-South Bureau,“Changjiang literature and art” and the Central-South Branch of Xinhua Bookstore as the main objects,and focuses on exploring the literary and artistic publications and publishing of Hubei literature and art in this period.Literature and art publications are an important position to carry out literary and artistic creation activities.During this period,“Changjiang literature and art” was the official publication of the Central-South Literary Federation and the Central-South Writers’ Association.It published a large number of literary and artistic works,literary and artistic comments and literary and artistic reports,etc.It had a variety of columns,closely matched the literary and artistic policies of the Central-South Bureau,in step with the national literary and artistic development,while actively organizing and training workers,peasants and soldiers in the literary and artistic field.“ Changjiang literature and art ” played a particularly important role in the start and development of Hubei literature and art during the Central-South Bureau period.During this period,the Central South Branch of Xinhua Bookstore,under the leadership of the Central-South Bureau,published a large number of important works and series of books from Hubei Province,Central South District and the whole country,which laid a foundation for the socialist literary and artistic publishing industry in Hubei,and also provided a national channel for the dissemination of Hubei literature and art.The Central-South Bureau happened to be in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,linking the modern and contemporary Hubei literature and art,and made important contributions to the start and development of Hubei literature and art.During this period,the team of Hubei literary and artistic workers grew stronger and stronger.Under the guidance of the party ’s literary and artistic policy,Hubei literature and art gradually took root and blossomed from barrenness,and moved from Hubei to the whole country,playing a leading role in the development of national literature and art,and laying a solid foundation for the prosperity of Hubei literature and art in the new era.However,as a product of a specific historical period,Hubei literature and art led by the Central-South Bureau also has certain limitations.While promoting the cause of socialist literature and art,it also limits Hubei literature and art to a higher level in a certain sense.
