In recent years,China has the growth of economy,the economy of the world also has increasing exchange and integration.The demand for foreign business people to learn business Chinese has gradually increased.Business Chinese refers to professional Chinese for foreign people and foreign students took part in business,investment,and other economic affairs with China.As a special Chinese language,its teaching and teaching materials have special requirements different from those of general Chinese language teaching.Vocabulary has a great status on language and an important status in the Chinese teaching.By using the guidance of ESP(English for Special Purposes)theory and frame semantics theory,this paper uses two methods like literature,quantitative and comparative analysis.Other methods are also combined.The paper takes the vocabulary in the New Business Chinese Course as the main research object.It analyzes and researches from many aspects,such as vocabulary size,vocabulary rank distribution,word class distribution,vocabulary definition and vocabulary practice.On the basis of further comparison and analysis with the Syllabus of Vocabulary and Grades for Chinese Proficiency and the Syllabus of Grades for Business Chinese Test,the problems in their vocabulary compilation are clearly identified with intuitive and objective statistical data,and the following suggestions for revision are below:(Ⅰ)Establish the Outline of Business Chinese Vocabulary Ranking to provide a standardized and unified standard for the vocabulary selection of business Chinese textbooks as soon as possible.(Ⅱ)For the distribution of parts of speech,we should focus on the Grade Outline,focusing on nouns,verbs and adjectives.We should also take various of vocabularies into account,to ensure the textbooks has the features of business Chinese.(Ⅲ)So as to reduce learners’ learning difficulty,the methods of vocabulary interpretation should be diversified,the content of lexical interpretation should be flexible and vivid,and the purpose should be concise and clear.(Ⅳ)The total exercises of vocabulary need reasonable control,in each course should be arranged in the same way,and the question type arrangement presents a progressive and flexible mode.
