| Junior high school stage is the key period to adapt,in the face of physical and mental development changes and contradictions,need to make appropriate adjustments to changes in order to better adapt to the environment.Interpersonal adaptation is an important aspect of social adaptation,good interpersonal adaptation can help students to obtain harmonious interpersonal relationships,is conducive to the survival and development of students.According to the existing research,family functioning,resilience and emotion regulation are important factors affecting interpersonal adaptation.This study investigated the effects of family functioning,resilience and emotion regulation self-efficacy on junior high school students’ interpersonal adjustment,and further explored the internal mechanism of junior high school students’ family functioning on interpersonal adjustment,in order to provide theoretical support for the development of mental health education for junior middle school students.In this study,703 junior middle school students were investigated by questionnaires,including Family Function Rating Scale,Adolescent Interpersonal Adaptation Scale,Resilience Questionnaire and Emotion Regulation Self-efficacy Questionnaire.634 valid questionnaires were collected,including 509 ordinary junior middle school students and 125 secondary vocational school students.SPSS 23.0 and process were used to analyze the data.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The four variables of family functioning,emotion regulation,self-efficacy,resilience and interpersonal adaptation were significantly correlated with each other.Family functioning,emotion regulation self-efficacy and resilience positively predicted interpersonal adaptation.Family functioning positively predicted resilience and emotion regulation self-efficacy,and emotion regulation self efficacy positively predicted resilience.(2)Emotion regulation self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between family functioning and interpersonal adjustment;Resilience partially mediates the relationship between family functioning and interpersonal adjustment.(3)Emotion regulation self-efficacy and resilience play a mediating role in the relationship between family functioning and interpersonal adjustment.The results show that the overall level of perceived family functioning of junior high school students is good,and the level of interpersonal adaptation,emotional regulation self-efficacy and psychological resilience are in the upper middle level.Junior high school students’ family function,emotion regulation self-efficacy and resilience can affect their interpersonal adaptability;Junior high school students’ family functioning can affect their interpersonal adaptability by affecting their emotion regulation self-efficacy or resilience;Junior high school students’ family functioning can affect their interpersonal adaptability through the chain mediating role of emotion regulation,self-efficacy and resilience. |
