The beginning of college life represents students initially enter a completely unfamiliar environment in the absence of others accompany situation without family protection. In recent years, psychological problems have been concerned widespread, especially interpersonal aspects of college students. Many studies have shown that family function has significant predictive effect of interpersonal adaptation. The higher the level of family functioning has, the better interpersonal adaption had, but studies on the mechanism of action between them are rare and unclear. By reading a lot of relevant literature, the author is trying to get the exact model of the relationship between the emotion regulation and self-regulation of self-efficacy through the establishment of the four variables. It reveals the impact on family functioning and interpersonal adaptation mechanism of action, provide reference for prevention and intervention interpersonal adaptation.We screened 630 valid questionnaires with layer- cluster random sampling method among a total of 800 questionnaires in two cities of Heilongjiang. Family Function Questionnaire(FACES III), emotional regulation of self-efficacy Scale(RES), self-regulation questionnaire, Chinese College Students’ Interpersonal Adjustment Scale(CCSAS) test to check the level of family functioning subjects, self-efficacy levels of emotion regulation, the level of self-regulation, interpersonal adaptation level were used respectively. Using SPSS21.0, AMOS17.0, MPLUS7.0 software for statistical analysis. Analysis showed that the result of questionnaire has good reliability and validity.The result of the research reveals:(1) Gender, whether the only child, family location, whether the class cadre and grade of demographic variables have a significant difference in family function. However, the subject category has no significant difference.(2) Whether the only child, family location, subject category whether the class cadre and grade of demographic variables have a significant difference in interpersonal adaptation,but gender has no significant difference.(3) Family function score and each dimension have remarkable positive correlation with emotion regulation self-efficacy, self adjustment, interpersonal adaption and their each dimension; Each of them exist significant difference, it suggests the level of family function is higher, the corresponding level of emotion regulation self-efficacy self adjustment, interpersonal adaption is higher.(4) Family function, emotion regulation self-efficacy and interpersonal adaption constitute the Mediating effect model fit well, this reveals emotion regulation self-efficacy plays an intermediary role between family function and interpersonal adaptation;(5) Family function, self-adjustment and interpersonal adaption of Moderating effect model fits well, it explains self-adjustment plays a regulating role in the direct effect of family function on interpersonal adaptation.(6) Family function fits well with the emotion regulation self-efficacy, self-adjustment, and interpersonal adaption having intermediary model adjustment. Family function not only directly affects the social adaptation of college students, but also indirectly impact on college students’ interpersonal adaptation through the regulatory emotional self-efficacy as an intermediate variable. However, self-adjustment regulates the direct effects of family function to interpersonal adaption and mediating effect. Further examination reveals, it not only simply regulate the first half of the path and the second path of intermediary path, but also regulate the path before and after.
