In recent years,a small group of special comedy films have emerged in the field of film art,such as "Donkey Gets Water" "Unknown Generation" "A Spoon" "A Good Play" and "Hello! Mr.Tree".They have changed the harmless style and characteristics of traditional comedy films in the past,focusing on the alienation and absurdity in the lives of low-level small people,and focusing on the social ills and symptoms of the times in the current society.From the perspective of comic themes,comic characters,and comic narrative techniques,it presents characteristics that are different from traditional comedies in the past,which is precisely the content of this article.Starting from the perspective of narratology,this article analyzes,studies,and elaborates on domestic absurd comedy films with the knowledge of socio-cultural science,spiritual psychology,and other fields.It is divided into an introduction and four chapters.Firstly,in the introduction section,it sorts out various meanings of absurdity at the philosophical and aesthetic levels,summarizes and classifies domestic research literature on absurdity comedy films,comedy film performance techniques,and absurd narration,and determines the definition of domestic absurdity comedy films on the shoulders of giants.The first chapter expounds the origin and development of absurd philosophy in Western society from a historical perspective.Under the historical background of China’s special period and the tradition of absurd narration,absurd philosophy has been able to develop rapidly in the field of Chinese film art.The second chapter summarizes the common themes of domestic absurd comedy films,namely,self mockery of human nature and romantic imagination of reality.After entering China,absurd comedy films have undergone localization and innovation.The antagonistic force in the films does not come from the outside world,but points to human weaknesses.At the same time,in the context of China,domestic absurd comedy films always bring a touch of warmth to people in despair,manifested as romantic imagination of reality.The third chapter focuses on the absurd narrative images in the absurd comedy films,and analyzes the causes and phenomena of alienation suffered by the small and medium-sized characters in the absurd comedy films from the perspective of alienation and resistance with the help of existentialist philosophy.In the eternal alienated life,different people have different attitudes towards absurdity-avoidance or resistance.The fourth chapter summarizes the commonly used absurd narrative techniques in domestic absurd comedy films,including the dislocation and contrast that subverts the audience’s cognition,as well as the profound color metaphors,object metaphors,and dialect metaphors.The use of dislocation contrast and metaphor not only brings laughter to the audience,but also increases the audience’s sense of immersion and unexpected gain,making it possible to reflect on the disharmony between people and society in real life.Finally,in the concluding remarks,I summarize the role of absurd comedy films in people’s real life,reproduce absurdity in the form of absurdity,recognize absurdity,and combat absurdity. |
