Through the literature review and case analysis to define the research problem that found the literature coverage rate of the Dong ethnic group costume elements in western Hunan is insufficient in the field of preschool children’s picture books,so as to determine the topic.The design will combine the costume art of the Dong ethnic group in western Hunan with modern children’s picture books,in order to achieve the activation and inheritance of the Dong ethnic group costume culture,and meet the needs of children perceive the multiculturalism of the motherland.That practice is carry out on the cultural theme of the Dong ethnic group costume elements in western Hunan,in which aims to cultivate children’s aesthetic perception and reading habits,and basic on experiential picture books for preschool children.According to the field investigation,typological research and image analysis method,to Integrate and deconstruct the elements of Dong ethnic group costume materials in western Hunan.As the children clothing of Dong ethnic group mainly,to analyzes and summarizes from the visual language of images,and expounds the pattern theme,clothing color,clothing material,pattern shape and the visual characteristics of pattern composition of the Dong ethnic group clothing layer by layer what to provide theoretical guidance for the construction of the cultural connotation of picture books.By thinking about the external and internal factors that affect the design proposed by Mr.Liu Guanzhong in the methodology of the theory of affairs,it analyzes the factors that affect the design of experiential picture books for preschool children.It analyzes the user needs of preschool children’s picture books and the psychological factors that affect consumers’ purchase from the external factors,In terms of internal factors that analyzes the principles of experience design and the possibility and limitations of the structure of preschool children’s experiential picture books.The extracted design elements and methods are applied to the practice of picture book design by summarizing the theories of Dong ethnic group costume elements in western Hunan and experiential picture books for preschool children,The picture books are designed in stages according to the differences in the age characteristics of preschool children.We designed picture books for children aged 0 to 3based on the interactive experience of projection toy book behavior and mainly in the embroidery style of the Dong ethnic group,and picture books for children aged 3 to 6 based on the tactile experience of paper art and mainly composed of Dong brocade patterns.The instinct-level aesthetic quality of design practice is reflected in the inspiration of the Dong ethnic group costume elements in western Hunan,making the creative style natural,mysterious and refreshing;the behavior-level reading experience is reflected in the addition of experiential design elements to achieve incremental innovation;In terms of rationality,it conforms to the cognitive characteristics and growth needs of young children,conveys the literary wisdom in folk stories,and spreads culture.It is a preliminary exploration of children’s picture books based on Dong costume elements. |
