| China-Laos cooperation and exchanges in political,economic and cultural fields have been deepened and expanded,and bilateral relations have been upgraded from a strategic partnership to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.At the same time,Chinese has gradually entered the daily life and classroom teaching in Laos.In 2016,the National Assembly of Laos held a meeting in Vientiane and approved the inclusion of international Chinese education in the national education system of Laos.Chinese education in Laos is developing rapidly,but there are challenges in Chinese teaching in different stages,including teachers,students and teaching process.Based on literature research and data analysis,this study investigates and analyzes the development of Chinese education in Laos,starting from four aspects: the status quo,influencing factors,challenges and countermeasures of Chinese education in Laos.The first chapter is about the status quo of Chinese education in Laos,including the general situation of Chinese education development,the status quo of Chinese teaching development and the characteristics of Chinese education development.First,the development of Chinese education is divided into three parts.First,Laos’ education system is divided into three levels of management: Ministry of Education,provincial education department and county education bureau,and three forms of general education,civilian school education and vocational education.The introduction of the introduction of Chinese into Laos’ national education system is also included.Second,the development of Chinese education in Laos.In the early 15 th century,Chinese and Laotian envoys had exchanges.In recent years,the two sides had frequent cooperation and exchanges,and gradually formed a relatively complete Chinese education system in Laos.Third,the main Chinese education units in Laos,which are divided into four levels: Chinese education in primary and secondary schools,universities,Confucius Institutes and training institutions;Secondly,the status quo of Chinese teaching in Laos is introduced respectively in terms of teachers,students,curriculum and teaching materials in primary and secondary schools,universities,Confucius Institutes and training institutions in Laos.Then,the development of Chinese education in Laos can be divided into three characteristics: the scale and number of Chinese learners are constantly increasing,the number of international students is constantly increasing,and the educational and cultural exchanges between China and Laos are constantly deepening.The second chapter is the influential factors of the development of Chinese education in Laos.This chapter analyzes the influencing factors in three aspects: China-Laos political mutual trust provides backing,China-Laos economic exchanges provide driving force,and China-Laos cultural exchanges build Bridges.The third chapter is about the challenges of Chinese education development in Laos.Combining previous research results and data survey,it analyzes the challenges of Chinese education development in Laos from the perspectives of students,teachers and teaching process.Teachers are confronted with the challenges of shortage of quantity,unreasonable structure and limited professional level,and students have the problems of lack of learning motivation,weak Chinese foundation and large individual differences.In the process of teaching,Chinese education in Laos still needs to solve the problems of lack of teaching plan,lack of school funds,lack of teacher resources and unreasonable curriculum.The fourth chapter is the countermeasures for the development of Chinese education in Laos.According to the challenges faced in the development of Chinese education in Laos,the corresponding strategies are analyzed.First,teachers should strengthen the training of local teachers,strengthen the role of Chinese teachers and raise the threshold of Chinese teachers.Second,we should set up the reward mechanism and improve the teaching method.Third,Laotian Chinese textbooks need to enrich the existing kinds of textbooks and compile localized textbooks suitable for Laotian students.Fourth,the Laotian Chinese course should adjust the course setting,add the course type,and realize the combination of online and offline course learning mode. |
