The Long Sign is an original Chinese epic opera,based on strong national colors,aimed at inheriting the red spirit,remembering revolutionary martyrs,since its premiere in 2016 has been highly praised by the industry.The canto "Snow,Snow" is the fifth act of the opera.It is sung by Wan Xia,an educated young female character.Its characteristic soliloquy,rigorous musical structure and the combination of solo singing and chorus make it one of the most wonderful arias in the opera.The three parts of this paper analyze aria "Snow,Snow" step by step from the background of the creation of the work,text analysis of the music and the author’s singing practice.Finally,the author summarizes some personal stage experience for the vocal music learners to perform the verse,so that the singer can better integrate into the role during the singing.At the same time,it also provides reference and help for the vocal music learners who sing this section.
