The aim of this thesis is to study the impact of the factors of interpreters’ subjectivity in advance preparation on their understanding of simultaneous interpreting, based on the theoretical formula proposed by Gile: "C=KL+ELK+A",by using a questionnaire and empirical research method. In this study,a control was set up in the experimental session with and without pre-interpretation preparation,in an attempt to trace the correlation between comprehension and the subjective problems in preinterpretation preparation from the analysis of the results of simultaneous interpreting and to propose corresponding countermeasures,in order to improve the instructional teaching on pre-interpretation preparation or to provide reference for other scholars’ subsequent research in this field. From the experimental analysis, the two most significant factors in the preparation of interpreters are 1)over-reliance on the information in the preparation and thus weakening of active listening and 2)insufficient activation of terminology and inability to flexibly apply the knowledge acquired in the preparation in the interpretation output. After analysis, the countermeasures proposed in this study are based on the theoretical framework of "C=KL+ELK+A".Translators themselves should focus on long-term language habit cultivation and accumulation of knowledge.Teachers, when guiding students, should help them improve their pre-translation text analysis skills, strengthen the reserves of both knowledge for the language and extra-linguistic knowledge.
