In the creation and selection of contemporary dance materials,there are a large number of dance works,which are created based on a specific dance image.This paper takes the "Jade Dancer" in the Museum of the Nanyue King Mausoleum as the research object,starting from the following aspects — character images,dance language,and stage space — combined with the author ’ s practical dance creation experience,to provide some creative ideas for the stage presentation of the "Jade Dancer" in the Museum of the Nanyue King Mausoleum.This paper focuses on the analysis of dance works created by others using the round sculpture "Jade Dancer" unearthed from the Tomb of Nanyue King in Western Han Dynasty as the character image,and on the analysis of the author’s original dance creation work named "Sculpture".It is mainly divided into three parts.Chapter one elaborates on the background and stage presentation of "Jade Dancer" from the Tomb of Nanyue King in Western Han Dynasty,in order to determine the scope of creation.Chapter two discusses the motion prototype,dance style and narrative space of the five related excellent dance works.Chapter three takes the author’s original dance creation work "Sculpture " in the personal degree special session as a study case,analyzing the author’s practical creation process to provide some relevant creation methods.
