| With the prevalence and development of positive psychology, subjective well-being has gradually become the focus of attention in the field of adolescent mental health. How to help adolescents improve their subjective well-being is an important issue at present.Individual mood swings and psychological disorders are caused by the emotional attachment to a certain object.Good peer relationship is a protective factor for the development of adolescent mental health, and the level of mental health also affects the relationship between individuals and peers. The relationship between peer attachment and subjective well-being needs further discussion.Based on the perspective of positive psychology and attachment theory, this study explored the relationship between peer attachment and subjective well-being.Combined with self-determination theory,Internet use-compensation theory and beneficial health model, the mechanism of fear of missing out, problematic Internet use and sense of coherence was investigated. The purpose of constructing the relationship model of the above five factors is to provide reference suggestions for improving the level of adolescent subjective well-being and promoting their mental health. In this study,870 students from a middle school in Guangdong Province were enrolled in a three-month short-term follow-up study using questionnaire survey. The results show that:(1)Peer attachment positively predicts subjective well-being.(2)Fear of missing out plays a partial mediating role between peer attachment and subjective well-being.(3)Problematic Internet use partially mediated the effect of peer attachment on subjective well-being.(4)Fear of missing out and problematic Internet use play a chain mediating role between peer attachment and subjective well-being.(5)Sense of coherence moderates the effect of peer attachment on subjective well-being.The results reveal the predictive effect and influence mechanism of peer attachment on subjective well-being,suggesting that educators should pay attention to the quality of adolescent peer relationship, help students with low peer attachment level to master interpersonal skills, and avoid the phenomenon of fear of missing out and problematic Internet use caused by unsatisfied relationship needs, and ultimately lead to the reduction of subjective well-being and other adverse consequences. |
