| Sharing behavior is a pro-social behavior in which the sharer has resources and voluntarily shares resources with others to benefiting other people.At present,most researchers pay attention to the impact of individual factors on sharing behavior,with little attention paid to the impact of social situations on sharing behavior.Research shows that moral elevation and social approval promote pro-social behavior.Individual with high self-focused attention will implement pro-social behavior under certain conditions.This study combines individual factors such as moral elevation and self-focused attention with situational factors such as social approval to explore the impact on college students’ sharing behavior.From the perspective of positive psychology,it can induce the moral elevation,create social approval situations,play the positive role of self-focused attention,make individuals share resources to people,and help cultivate sharing behavior and build a harmonious society.This study explored the impact of moral elevation,self-focused attention,and social approval on sharing behavior through three studies.The first study examined the impact of moral elevation and self-focused attention on knowledge sharing behavior.The recall method was used to stimulate the state moral elevation,and the questionnaire was used to measure the subjects’ knowledge sharing behavior and self-focused attention.The results indicate that stimulating the moral elevation has a promoting effect on knowledge sharing behavior;People with high self-focused attention are more inclined to engage in knowledge sharing behavior.The second study examined the impact of moral elevation,social approval and self-focused attention on individual sharing behavior.Use video-induced the state moral elevation,set up high and low social approval situations,measure self-focused attention by questionnaire,and divide into high and low groups,and test the sharing behavior by the number of lucky coins shared in the lucky game.The results showed that stimulating the moral elevation has a promoting effect on individual sharing behavior;The interaction between social approval and self-focused attention on the change of the number of lucky coins shared is significant.The high social approval can promote high self-focused attention individuals to increase sharing,but has no significant impact on low self-focused attention individuals to share lucky coins.The third study examined the impact of moral elevation,social approval and self-focused attention on sharing behavior in groups.Adopt consistent contributors to induce the state moral elevation,set up high and low social approval situations,measure self-focused attention with questionnaires,and divide them into high and low groups,and test sharing behavior by sharing times in the game of public product dilemma.The results showed that stimulating the moral elevation has a promoting effect on sharing behavior within the group;The interaction of social approval and self-focused attention on the increase of sharing times is significant.The high social approval situation can promote high self-focused attention individuals to increase sharing,but has no significant impact on the frequency of sharing among low self-focused attention individuals. |
