One of the important signs of forming the core accomplishment of chemistry is to have the thinking mode of analyzing and dealing with problems like a chemist.Chinese chemists have made pivotal contributions to the cause of chemistry. They solve many problems in scientific research and practice with their knowledge and wisdom, and a unique way of thinking has been formed in the process. The way of thinking of chemists belongs to the research scope of chemical philosophy and chemical methodology, which is mainly reflected in the works and scientific research achievements of chemists,as well as in the biographies of chemists. Therefore, the latter is also an important literature material.Taking several chemists with outstanding contributions in the history of Chinese chemistry as research examples,we can summarize their unique way of thinking by studying and analyzing the lives of five chemists such as Xu Guangxian and Lu Jiaxi. These books and biographies contain their valuable experience and personal experience in the process of scientific research.Chemist’s way of thinking is also an essential aspect of chemistry talent training. This paper takes biographies and works of chemists as the main data and basis for the study of the way of thinking, and analyzes and sorts out their extraordinary ways of thinking and solving problems in the process of solving scientific problems.Through the analysis and comparison with the Nobel Prize winners in chemistry and the Japanese Nobel Prize program, the similarities and differences between Chinese and foreign chemists in the way of thinking are clarified, and the advantages of Chinese scientists’ way of thinking are pointed out,as well as the places to learn from foreign chemists and even other scientists.Over the years, people have paid special attention to "Qian Xuesen’s question".There have been a lot of analysis and suggestions on how to solve this problem, but we still can’t say that we have found the final answer. This paper combines the thinking mode of Chinese chemists, and the training characteristics of the Nobel Prize program in Japan for talents, and combines the thinking mode and training method of chemical talents. It also gives some answers to "Qian Xuesen’s question",hoping to achieve the effect of throwing a theoretical foundation to attract jade.
