A Report On Translation Of Informative Text Under Text Typology

As an annual summary of the operating results and financial position of a listed company,the enterprise annual report is conducive to investors’ timely and full access to information required for investment decisions,and the elimination of information differences between different investment groups in the market,which is of positive significance to the pricing of company securities and investors’ decisions.Therefore,the translation of such reports is significant.The paper analyzes the lexical and syntactic aspects of the Inzone Group Co.,Ltd.2021 Annual Report with the framework of Reiss’ text typology,and discusses the specific translation methods of the industrial report concerning the main features of these two aspects.First of all,the selected text meets the language function and textual focus of the informative text but also has unique stylistic characteristics.Therefore,with the appropriate translation methods,it is impossible to meet the translation requirements of the informative text,ensuring that the information in the translation is faithful to the original text,and suitable for such special text as far as possible,ensuring reasonable expression and discourse coherence on the basis of reflecting the professionalism of the original text.Reiss’ text typology provides macro guidance for the translator,who translates the original text according to different translation methods to make sure the accurate and complete delivery of the information in the original text.
