"Shuowen Jie Zi Zhu" Inherits And Develops The "Poems" Of "The Book Of Songs Primary School"

This paper takes the same parts of Shijing xiaoxue(《诗经小学》)and Shuowen jiezizhu(《说文解字注》)as the research object,and refers to the four-volume Shijing xiaoxue(Zang Jie Edition)(臧节本).Based on the analysis of exegesis works and previous research results,this paper uses a variety of research methods,such as comparative method and inductive analysis method,to analyze the inheritance and development of the content,methods and terms of from Shijing xiaoxue to Shuowen jiezizhu.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly introduces the significance of the topic,research status,research basis and methods.The second part is the inheritance and development of Shuowen jiezizhu on the content of Shijing xiaoxue.Shuowen jiezizhu mainly inherits three aspects: explaining words,clarifying sentence meaning and discriminating ancient books’ different examples.It mainly develops five aspects: determining words,explaining loan,distinguishing standard form of Chinese characters and popular form of characters,explaining annotation and understanding Zhuan(《传》)and Jian(《笺》).The third part is about the inheritance and development of the method of Shijing xiaoxue in Shuowen jiezizhu.Shuowen jiezizhu mainly inherits and develops the exegetical methods of Shijing xiaoxue,such as seeking meaning by sound,seeking meaning by form and interpreting meaning by different texts.The fourth part is the inheritance and development of Shuowen jiezizhu on the terms of Shijing xiaoxue.Shuowen jiezizhu mainly inherits the terms of "definition and boundary"(“定义立界”类术语)and "analogy"(“类比”类术语)in Shijing xiaoxue,mainly develops the terms of "interpretation with sound"(“以声音通训诂”类术语)and"analogy"(“类比”类术语),and innovates the terms of "discrimination"(“辨析”类术语)in Shijing xiaoxue.The fifth part is the conclusion,which mainly summarizes the inheritance and development of the content,methods and terms of Shijing xiaoxue in Shuowen Jiezizhu,so as to see that Duan Yucai’s discussion in the two works tends to be exact.In addition,the conclusion also clarifies the significance of the research on inheritance and development,as well as the research value of this paper.
