Study On The Official Script Of The Eastern Han Dynasty Stone Que In Sichuan

Most of the surviving stone Que were built during the Eastern Han Dynasty,and as a special form of architecture,they not only serve a certain function,but also contain a variety of art forms,including carving,Han Dynasty images and calligraphy.In terms of calligraphic art alone,the Sichuan regions has the most abundant and distinctive style and appearance.Therefore,this essay takes the official script of the Eastern Han Dynasty stone Que in Sichuan as the subject of the study,and explores its uniqueness of calligraphic art,as well as what can be learned from this object for the morden creation of the official script.The first part of this essay collates and summarizes the classification,function,form and distribution of stone que in the Eastern Han Dynasty,and concludes the influence of specific historical and cultural factors on the construction of stone Que in the Eastern Han Dynasty.In the second part,firstly,the basic information about the engraving time,contect and location of the stone Que inscriptions in Sichuan is elaborated.Secondly,the surviving stone Que inscriptions in Sichuan are divided into seven categories based on different stylistic aspects.Through the analysis of the specific stone Que official script,we can find the connection between the seven stylistic types and the common performance regularity,and summarize the overall characteristics of the Eastern Han Dynasty stone Que in Sichuan.Also,it is compared with the official script of stone Que from different regions and other types of stone inscriptions,which shows the special features of the object of the study and the influence of different engraving contexts and conditions on the appearence of stone Que inscriptions.Furthermore,based on the compilaition of basic information about the stone Que,the author analyze and summarize the factors that influenced the formation of the overall features of the official script of the Eastern Han Dynasty stone Que in Sichuan.In the third part,the author elaborates on the creation methods that are representative of the object of the study and available on morden works,which provides more references for enriching the apprearence of current offcial script works.In addition,the author also expounds that individual creations how to assimilate and apply the creation forms of the research object,which reflects the significance of official script of the Eastern Han Dynasty stone Que for morden creation.In terms of quantity and attention,the stone Que official script is inferior to the classical inscriptions of stele in the Han Dynasty and official script on the cliff,however its artistic tension and extremely distinctive stroke forms,character structures and composition make the official script of the Eastern Han Dynasty present more possibilities in terms of style and appearence,and at the same time provide valuable materials for us to research and learn the official script of the Han Dynasty in a comprehensive manner.
