Su’s school was formally established in the year of Yuanyou. The so-called Su’s school in the Song dynasty is equivalent to the “six men of Su’s school”.At most,Su Shi and Su Zhe can only be added. In modern people’s cognition, the scope and significance of Su’s school have been expanded from social, academic, political and literary aspects. For this reason,it is no longer clear how many members the Su’s school should have.As a subsidiary concept of Su’s school, the Ci-poets of Su’s school is even more so in the degree of fuzziness. To define Su’s school and the Ci-poets of Su’s school, the most important thing is to require the internal spirit of their literary creation, that is,what Wang Shuizhao called “political independence, independent thinking in academic thought, and free creation in literature and art”,to be consistent with Su Shi.This kind of inner spirit makes their Ci-poems have a faint“vitality”(Sheng Qi).Just as “Poems are divided into Tang and Song dynasties”(Shi Fen Tang Song),in terms of content, form, style, creative function and language philosophy,Ci-poems also has the difference between “Tang tune”(Tang Yin)and “Song tune”(Song Diao),while the theory of Ci-poems which called “taking poetry as Ci-poems”(Yi Shi Wei Ci)has the difference between“Tang poetry”and “Song poetry”.In the middle of the Northern Song dynasty,Su Shi’s view of “taking poetry as Ci-poems”(Yi Shi Wei Ci)required that words should be free from eroticism in content, point to serious political enlightenment in creative function, and “express all meaning”(Yan Jin Yi)in language philosophy. Its core element was to take “Song poetry” as Ci-poems.In the late Northern Song dynasty,Chen Shidao,Chao Buzhi,Li Zhiyi and other Su’s school’theory of the “true color”(Ben Se)of Ci-poems required that Ci-poems should have the “vigorous spirit ”(Feng Gu)of Tang poetry. With the language philosophy of“words can not express the meaning”(Yan Bu Jin Yi),they reached an artistic wonderland of endless implication and endless charm. The core element of this theory was to take “Tang poetry”as the Ci-poems.There are two internal reasons for the change of the theory of Ci-poems of Su’s School:the style and the author of Ci-poems.In his later years,Chao Buzhi had always been contradictory between official and hidden, which made his whole late style have a tendency of fragmentation and separation, but his words had two “late styles” of “timeliness” and “lateness”.The typical work of Chao Buzhi’s “lateness” style is the Ci-poems of idle living in Jinxiang. Its tight form, the surface of the text is disintegrated, and the internal spirit is fragmented, showing the beauty of contradiction and fragmentation. The typical works of Chao Buzhi’s “timeliness” style are the Ci-poems written in his later years, which resolve resentment and contradictions, show his mature and quiet beauty in art and life, and the greatness of the realm is close to Tao Yuanming.“Divine steed”(Shen Jun)is the most valuable quality of Li Qingzhao’s Ci-poems.The essence of “divine steed”(Shen Jun)is “strange”(Qi),which means that although Li Qingzhao is a woman, she is“as handsome as a man”(Ti Tang You Zhang Fu Qi).In the context of “chasing Su Shi”(Zhui Bu Dongpo),we can re-understand “divine steed”(Shen Jun).Li Qingzhao not only had a close relationship with Su’s school, but also took the initiative to accept and learn literature of Su’s school. After entering the Huizong dynasty,Li Qingzhao inherited the inherent spirit of Su Shi and his literature with the successive death of Su’s school.Although Li Qingzhao’s Ci-poems are often divided into two periods based on the boundary of South Crossing(Nandu),and the style of her words has indeed changed significantly, its literary essence is always her inherent spirit inherited from Su’s school. When she put the “self”with this spirit into her words, her Ci-poems have the characteristics of“divine steed”(Shen Jun).Li Qingzhao and his Ci-poems of “divine steed”(Shen Jun)broke through the restrictions of the times and were unique and detached.
