| In 1990,Professor Wu Weike of Ohio State University and others jointly established and developed a young teaching method,the Performed Culture Approach.This teaching method advocates allowing language learners to "experience" and "rehearse" the language they have learned in the context of the target language culture,and through repeated practice,to form a memory of the target language culture,in order to appropriately and freely communicate with members of the target language culture in possible future scenarios.Under the guidance of the Performed Culture Approach,I combined my own teaching practice to design a primary Chinese comprehensive course for the Chinese textbook I Love Chinese Volume 4,Lesson 10,What Do You Want to Eat for Dinner,for Thai primary schools,and displayed the teaching process,reflected and summarized the teaching process after teaching practice.I hope this article can provide specific and effective reference for the relevant research on the application of the Performed Culture Approach to the comprehensive course for elementary Chinese.This article is divided into four parts,and the specific content is as follows:The first chapter is an introduction.Firstly,it analyzes the research background of the Performed Culture Approach and the teaching of Thai elementary Chinese comprehensive courses,expounds the significance of this topic selection,and then summarizes the research status of teaching design,the Performed Culture Approach,and comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language course,finally introduces the research methods of this article.The second chapter analyzes the appropriateness of the Performed Culture Approach and the comprehensive course of elementary Chinese.Firstly,the meaning and characteristics of the Performed Culture Approach were introduced.Then,the characteristics of the basic Chinese comprehensive course were analyzed.Next,the feasibility of applying the Performed Culture Approach to the basic Chinese comprehensive course was analyzed.Finally,the teaching principles applied in this article were introduced.The third chapter is the teaching design plan.Firstly,it analyzes the relevant factors of teaching design from four aspects: teaching environment,teaching objects,textbooks,and class types.Then,it analyzes and introduces the teaching elements,including teaching objectives,teaching content,key and difficult points in teaching,and class hour arrangement;Last,the teaching process is presented in detail.The fourth chapter is about teaching evaluation and reflection on this instructional design.First of all,I have provided feedback on the learning and teaching effectiveness of the application of the Performed Culture Approach to the elementary Chinese comprehensive course What do you want for dinner.Secondly,I have summarized the issues reflected in this teaching design and proposed corresponding teaching suggestions. |
