At present,countries around the world pay more and more attention to Chinese learning.Primary and secondary schools have opened Chinese courses one after another,and even preschool children have begun to learn Chinese gradually under the cultivation of family education.International Chinese education is developing at a younger age.The expansion of The scope of Chinese teaching will inevitably lead to the development of related reading materials,and Chinese picture books have become the primary choice for many parents to start Chinese reading materials.Taking picture books "chicken fierce bird" series as the research object,on the basis of literature study,first of all,the basic situation of picture books written to conduct a comprehensive analysis,then USES the quantitative analysis method,from the cognitive category and theme,story content and collocation,vocabulary study,statement four dimensions of the specific studies.The cognitive category of the picture book Phoenix Fierce Birds follows the child-oriented concept and selects the cognitive range related to children’s life,thus reflecting the rationality of the theme design of the picture book.The story content takes the interest as the first principle,fully excavates the children’s reading potential,promotes the parent-child reading together;In terms of picture and text collocation,the first,second and third level picture books of Phoenix Birds clearly distinguish the correlation degree of pictures and texts at all levels,and hide many clues in the pictures to cultivate children’s observation ability and language organization and expression ability.In terms of vocabulary,the number and type of vocabulary are in line with preschool children’s language level,but the difficulty is slightly higher than children’s cognition.Therefore,this paper proposes the idea of constructing Chinese vocabulary grade outline for preschool children as the compilation standard of Chinese second language graded reading materials.In terms of sentences,the number,length and pragmatic functions of sentences in the picture book "Phoenix Birds" conform to the setting of "YCT" grammar outline,and additional consideration should be given to lexical difficulty and articulation degree of sentence difficulty,so as to better reflect the integrity and age suitability of reading picture books.On this basis,the author selected three Chinese children from Singapore,the Netherlands and Japan as the research objects,collected reading feedback,and put forward relevant suggestions on the compilation of Chinese second language graded picture books for preschool children.
