The Fang family in Tongcheng were exiled to the Northeast of China twice due to the Examination Fraud of 1657 and the case of Dai Mingshi’s "Nanshan Collection".However,they were able to write in a difficult environment,and left behind a large number of poems and local annals works.The paper takes the writing creations of Fang’s clan during this period as the research object.Through the discussion of the content,artistic characteristics,and poetic ideas of their poetry,as well as the analysis of the content and contribution of their local chronicles,the value of their creation can be grasped.The paper can be divided into six parts.The introduction mainly summarizes the relevant academic research results about the topic till now,expounds the significance and value of the selected research,and explains the research methods and writing ideas of the article.The first chapter makes research on the background of Fang’s family in Tongcheng,briefly introduces the famous people among it,and outlines the life of Fang Gongqian and his son,Fang Dengyi and his grandson,and discusses the reasons why they were exiled to the Northeast.The second Chapter introduces the writing situations of the Fang’s clan,as well as their association with friends in the Northeast,based on the relevant historical materials.The third chapter is the analysis of the poetic thoughts of the Fang’s family when they were exiled,such as the temperament theory towards poetry,the casting of the writing style of Tang and Song Dynasties,the separation of poetry and history.Their poetic ideas at this period is also summarized in this part.By making classification and research on the content of the poems they created during this period,the artistic features of Fang’s poetry,such as shallow language,desolate imagery,and deep emotion can be found.Chapter four firstly analyzed the content of the local chronicles written by Fang’s clan exiled to the Northeast,and then concluded these works’ contributions,such as making up for the shortcomings of history,correcting the mistakes of the predecessors,and providing materials for the later historians.The final part is the conclusion,it summarizes the value of the writings of the Fang’s family who were in northeastern from three aspects: literary value,cultural value,and historical value.
